They had a bunch of spare money with stormy not turning up. What are they gonna do with it, if at all? It’s like their last slither of hope. They could pick up a few good housemates for cheap especially since there’s only a couple of weeks left.

they could easily got a few lesser known but entertaining housemates, at this point i don't think it would even matter how a list they were, just people who are genuinely entertaining

This series is supposed to end in 2 weeks, we're almost at halfway point. That's gonna be it. A little spare money made of another series, that probably cost them more than they made out of it.

Surely CBB has standby housemates, and surely one of them went in on Launch when whatsherface quit?

From what I have read is that the series is scheduled for 25 days. Today is Day 11 I think, so basically about 2 weeks left.

It's probably difficult to get replacement housemates for the celebrity series, when they have to negotiate with people and pay fees.

Although having said that, I think in 2015 Katie Price was meant to go in a later series, but was brought as a replacement.
