Why is Ben getting less flack for pursuing Roxanne than Chloe got for Jermaine?
 

At least with Chloe she didn't actually know the relationship status of Jermaine as he wouldn't tell her. Roxanne has made it clear to everyone in the house that she's engaged and loves her partner, yet Ben keeps trying to force something with her and asking her questions almost to try and change her mind :conf:

Look at the start of tonight's preview... it's totally unacceptable and not fair to put Roxanne in a position like that.

Because men pursuing woman is what we woman need to make us feel secure and valued... for our looks of course. Builds up our self-esteem ya know. No matter how many times we say no, they know we like it :idc:

Lmao yeah Ben is such a pig tho it should be a given considering his claim to local fame.
Also like I think it’s mostly just Jermaine and Chloe getting an insane amount of airtime, tho I think for certain people there is a double standard

I've always complained about this and called Ben a creeper for it but the main two reasons he's getting away with this ****e is 1) Roxanne is more childish than Chloe so it looks like it affects her less and 2) Ben is portraying it as mischievous and light-hearted so it doesn't look awful on his part even as he gropes and caresses her while she claims to be engaged :umm2:

Annoying that he’s gonna get even less hate after Roxy’s become a mess with the Ryan thing, which shouldn’t excuse Ben’s inappropriate behaviour at all

To be fair, in the same vein that I don't think Chloe was doing anything wrong, I don't think he was either

But telling her he loves her and suggesting it's reciprocated is a step too far, that puts her in a really uncomfortable position
