Enough Victim Shaming!

Mods need to do something about the disgusting victim shaming comments on this forum! Setting personal boundaries is NOT a double standard... Roxanne hasn’t lied about what happened... Her reaction may be considered over the top but she is entitled to her reaction just as much as forum members are...

lol

Pink Panther 31-08-2018 02:31 AM

Ryan's the victim, and you're shaming him. Hush.

I havent said anything about Ryan and no he is not a victim...

Mokka 31-08-2018 02:35 AM

Neither is Roxanne.... and calling her one is an insult to anyone who has been a victim of directed violence or abuse

She is a victim of domestic violence... The incident with Ryan has ignited previous trauma... You are just re-victimizing her...

Pro Sniper 31-08-2018 02:40 AM

Calling mods is a bitch thing to do. It's almost as bad as pretending to be hurt from non/minimal-contact play fighting..

I'm doing nothing to her. She can't and won't ever read my comment.
She is an actress though... and a soap one at that... so bad at it. Anyone can see through her cries of wolf

Clearly not when there are people defending her...

Just because you’re in the majority doesn’t mean you’re right...

You aren't making any points to prove you are right either

Of course not. But let's say this case went to court, how many jurors would find the shadow-boxer guilty?

:clap1:

I actually thought the incident would of been extreme from all the drama and uproar, but Ryan barely touched her and it's obvious he was joking around.
If he was aggressive and punched her hard then fair enough but it's the opposite.

And he should NOT of been given a warning ! that's just BS from BB ! pandering to Roxanne's lies!

You’re basically asking a jury to say a woman was “asking for it” just because she flirted with someone or was dress provocatively...

Those are two entirely different scenarios.... and shame on you for even trying to draw a parallel between them. A light joking jam on the arm in a non violent situation has nothing to do with rape or a woman saying no.

wtf you going on about :conf: I'm asking if after examining the evidence of this case> Thomas shadow-boxing around Pallett, would he be found guilty of any "threatening" behaviour?

A reasonable person could interpret his behaviour as something that could be considered threatening... Also there is no evidence that shows all he was doing was shadow boxing...

You’re a witness? If not you’re making up statements you know nothing about...

I'm talking about all the housemates who were there. In the court scenario put forth... witness would be called.... and unedited footage reviewed

Pretty sure they all would testify to the shadow boxing

Again you’re making stuff up to fit your narrative... You can’t speak for how others viewed the situation....
