Roxanne Pallett was in a abusive relationship
Let me start by saying that I don't believe Ryan did anything to intentionally hurt Roxy and should continue to stay in the house.
Saw this from the Mirror: CBB's Roxanne Pallett was in a abusive relationship and suffered domestic violence at hands of ex https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebri...nship-13168559 Like most people I found Roxy's reaction to the play-punch excessive and got me thinking why she is reacting this way. I speculate that the play-punch from Ryan brought back horrible memories of her past of being a victim of domestic violence and the play-punch was a trigger to PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder) https://maketheconnection.net/conditions/ptsd >> Feeling upset by things that remind you of what happened Having nightmares , vivid memories, or flashbacks of the event that make you feel like it’s happening all over again Feeling emotionally cut off from others Feeling numb or losing interest in things you used to care about Feeling constantly on guard >> so Roxy may not be reacting to what Ryan did, but instead reacting to memories of a past domestic violence incident. |
Rubbish, he didn't come at her in a menacing way
|
No excuses
|
I doubt that a little jab on the ribs is gonna bring back traumatic memories of being beaten black & blue.
She wanted to remove the competition with Ryan, it's blatant to see. |
It's just a bit odd that she only gets PTSD about it when Ryan play fights and no one else?
|
I empathise with her, I have no place to tell her what to or not feel, just not to the extent where it should come at the expense of Ryan’s career for no reason

But with PTSD it does not matter if it was menacing or not. It is just the mental trigger that reminds the victim of past incident. |

I don't think Ryan's career is in jeopardy as people can see he was just play fighting |

Find it hard to believe that that would have triggered PTSD but boxing with Ben etc didn't. Obviously I am no expert in all things PTSD but seems a reach |

Not so sure I believe her about any of it to be honest.
Attention seeking diva will say anything she pleases, true or not. |
This is a lame excuse imho.
She was laughing at first, he barely touched her, he was hardly going to attack her through the night fgs |
She also pretty much went right back to her normal dancing and fooling around so hardly traumatised, until of course she remembered she was supposed to be milking it
Shes a disgrace. |

However, Big Brother just want ratings and the housemates are just reality show fodder to them. So IMHO they don't really care that much if housemates career are ruined or not, they just want the ratings. |
She play fights with Ben pretty much every day though so

..it’s not that I don’t believe it’s true and that’s so sad for her...but I don’t feel it has any bearing here with Ryan...she in a protective environment completely and she knows that..so any shaky moments would be reassured by BB..but she was insisting more or less that he was ejected immediately..she also went in to talk about how she herself would be ported to the public if he wasn’t removed..?...that for me doesn’t display a PTSD association with the playfighting..?..also her fiancé is someone she met on the Internet, an Internet stranger who she became engaged to within 1 week of a real life meeting..?..and surely a stranger/danger thing and how quickly their relationship has advanced...would be something she would be very cautious of as well in the triggering of PTSD and her previous experience...it’s all really not gelling...how she acts, what she does, what she says etc...so I’m not sure a previous abusive experience would have bearing in her time in the house and her behaviour in there...

Exactly She switched back to the scared little lamb routine ! She's a terrible person  . She's not even convincing ,her true colours have been shown ! . The icing on the cake would be her getting evicted to heavy BOOS & HISSING !!! :fc: |
