A spokesperson for Roxanne has commented on the controversy to Digital Spy

Quote:

"Roxanne has no contact with the outside world to make her own statement, however we do know that Roxanne has worked closely with various domestic violence charities due to being a victim of domestic violence herself.

"She would be very upset to find out she may have caused offence to others who have been through the same.

"We can't make any more comment at present until such time as Roxanne is out of the Big Brother house and is able to address this situation herself."

I personally think she has an illness that we are not aware of, her behavior has been really odd and this was out of the blue, i love her and what she did was disgusting, but by the way she acts is like she thinks she is on a soap/tv show...which is worrying. I hope she gets a lot of help from BB after she's gone.

what she is doing to ryan is extremely damaging. BB should sort this out. they've seen the footage, they know shes still turning the screw & casting doubts in fellow HMs minds. mental cruelty is as bad as physical cruelty.

To be fair, I agree about her being ill (its awful because I hope that's what is is and its not a truly vile nasty trait she has) although I don't think its the sole responsibility of BB to get her help. From her behaviour from day 1 she she has been erratic. She probably has an existing mental health issue which needs addressing, i don't think its something that has been caused by being on BB, maybe exacerbated but the issues were there and have been for a long time imo

Even they acknowledge that Roxanne "may have caused offence".

I think she had this for a long time, probably since Emmerdale. I know it's not BBs responsibility but shows are criticised for not helping anyone with post-show stuff. I'm not defending what she did but it's gross but i'm just hoping she gets some kind of help so she's alright and not a danger to herself or anyone.

"Roxanne has worked closely with various domestic violence charities"

utter lies - i would wager she has done NO work at all save mention them a few times in interviews
