A bad past isn’t an excuse

I’m so sick to death of seeing her having a crap past as a defence for her current demeanour. The most evil and damaging people in the world probably had something that triggered that, you don’t get that way normally. But it’s not an excuse for the action or sets of actions. She tried to end someones career/reputation, and according to many many of her costars this isn’t the first time it’s happened. The way she coldly demanded for his ejection, while playing Chinese whispers with the whole house about some horrible act Ryan has done, and the fact that people who have worked with her can recall these same stories.

Imagine if the exact same predicament happened on the outside away from cameras. What’s stopping Roxanne from successfully labelling Ryan as a woman beater?

I read this & thought it was about Kim Woodburn tbh :skull:

Yeah it's not an excuse, though it allows some room for explanation in general (but not justification). In the case of Roxanne, I honestly don't think she did it to be spiteful, I just think she massively overreacted in the OTT drama queen way that she acts most days.

Roxanne is playing victim but it DOESN'T work as we can see her manipulative vile behavior in full throttle !! .

Ryan might of had a tough background too ,he doesn't go around accusing people of assault !!.

Roxanne can literally F off with her trollocks !!!:crazy:

I mean yeah I agree and there’s not much wrong with being ott there’s many housemates that are overly theratrical that I love but the diff with roxy is the things she accuses people of with her theratrics are career ending. In light of recent social consciousness she is really really playing with fire by messing around with accusations of woman beater, and not only for the person being accused as awful as it is, but for the humanity of other domestic abuse victims that fear getting treated with less dignity with people like her setting the precedent

Again this cuts way deeper than big brother so maybe it’s not hyper relevant, but I feel like that’s her main distinction from other ott hms
