I think Ryan warning was unfair.

Considering Roxanne was playfighting all the time, and someone could have got hurt accidentally. No idea why they pandered to her so much. She has been outed as a liar, because the video doesn't show any assault whatsoever
Thoughts?

Vanessa 01-09-2018 01:50 PM

Not to mention her play slapping someone.

Kazanne 01-09-2018 01:52 PM

I agree, but I suppose they have to pretend to be impartial, although we could all see it was unnecessary.

Rob! 01-09-2018 01:52 PM

It wasn’t, the show HAS to act upon complaints like that. If they had been that concerned about him, he would have been removed.

Jack_ 01-09-2018 01:53 PM

It was just, from a production standpoint they can't be seen to be accusing her of lying. If a housemate complains about feeling threatened, and that she was assaulted...they kind of have to do something.

After they reviewed the footage, I'm sure they were confident he did touch her or else they wouldn't have given him a warning

Vanessa 01-09-2018 01:55 PM

Considering she was playfighting all the time, not to mention jumping on people's beds. It just seems like it's one law for her and another for the rest.

Scream 01-09-2018 01:55 PM

I don't think he deserved a warning at all. I think they should have spoken to him, even if that was off camera to just let him know it could have been perceived badly.

Gusto Brunt 01-09-2018 01:56 PM

I totally agree. The way CBB treated Ryan has been totally wrong.

He should not have been warned at all.

However he should have been made aware of Roxanne's 'complaint'.

Ryan HAD to be warned. As Jack said, producers couldn’t have turned around to her and said “you’re being OTT love”. She made a complaint and producers had no choice but to act on it.

I do agree but I think a warning was too far. Especially one that was televised.

Matthew. 01-09-2018 03:24 PM

she made a complaint, so the producers needed to do something. maybe a formal warning was a bit much but they still needed to say something to ryan about the incident

Had anyone gone to the diary room to complain I'm sure they would have spoken to her though....they wouldn't have called ryan in if she hadn't been in there

He has been vindicated now, The housemates now know its all rubbish. Its been very uncomfortable watching

Robodog 01-09-2018 06:45 PM

It was a bit like deciding the verdict before having the trial !

They should have reviewed the footage with legal experts etc

Can't just punish someone based on an accusation - that's why we have law courts.

Elliot 01-09-2018 06:46 PM

So can anyone just complain over and over and get someone removed

Forget the play slapping , what about when she "demonstrated" on Ben in the toilet . You could hear the punches , Ben said she hurt him  .

BB should of just reminded Ryan of the rules without giving him a warning, and they could of still told bitch face that they've "sorted it out " . I agree the WARNING was unfair and very unnecessary considering it was far from aggressive behavior and he barely touched her . They reviewed the footage yet still punished Ryan which was stupid

It's only because Roxanne was crying and complaining which made them do that decision . But they shouldn't of felt pressured to just because of her crocodile tears :bored: . Did Natalie ever get a warning?? I'm sure BB only told her to cool down and reminded her of the rules .
