Does he remind anyone of Shabaz?

The way that he rubs the whole house up, his "relationship" Big Brother, just the way he was talking to BB in the diary room the other night and they said that they enjoyed talking to him and then he started crying.

Just made me think of Shabaz a little bit - anyone else?

Shahbaz was self-destructive and deranged. Hardeep has much more self-control. If he's like any housemate, it's Ahmed

They’re in no way alike whatsoever. Apart from the skin colour which I’m guessing is why you think

Skin colour has absolutely nothing to do with it....

Ahmed was unhinged and really didn't know how to behave himself.

Sometimes yes but other times he was very rigid in his views and how to express them. Similarly, Hardeep is like that and also has the consistent signs that he could explode any second

I respect your POV, but I don't see any similarity. Ahmed seemed, and often was, out of control a lot of the time, but seemed as if he felt entitled to be badly behaved.

Hardeep just reminds me what it's like to be Scottish - when affectionate banter can be quite cutting and close to the bone. I think the tension we see in him is him tyring to rein that in ... a bit :hee:
