Religious Intolerance to Hardeep on the forum
 

This is probably a bit to late to say anything but can be stop taking the piss out of Hardeep for being hairy when its a big part of his religion? Religious Intolerance is a major issues within the forum.

Doesn't mean he needs to cook with his hairy belly wobbling over the food though does it

Whether he does or not it is not fair to insult him on something so important to him

No one said he should cut it, but instead just contribute to general hygiene like wearing a tshirt whilst cooking etc.

There's a lot of things important to me but doesn't make them exempt from becoming insults.

Also body hair is less likely to fall in food then hair from the head

So many religions, so many daft religious ideas.

There are political views I would not respect (I'm a lefty like Hardeep) and there are religious views I don't respect.

I don't recognise a difference between criticising housemates for their politics or their religion (or in Kirstie's case, both, though I like her as a person and as a housemate).

Agree. Religion should be on a par with political beliefs or scientific beliefs. They are not inherent qualities.

I mean in some cultures not neccesarilly, and that doesn't make it any less of an important issue.

Perhaps a rule of no politics or religion should be the rule.

hardeep did not grow hair on his body due to his religion. he is just a hairy fat man. Some men have hair on their torso and some dont, its nowt to do with religion.
