Why do people ask questions?

I'm just wondering why do people ask questions?

is it a tricky question? :suspect:

as opposed to what?

Inquisitive

Is that a question?

In general
Why do we ask questions?

In general we ask questions to gather information.

by making this thread you already answered your own question

more to get to know each other better i guess, and in general we ask questions to expand our knowledge, what Annie said to gather information

So that their laptops, phones, lights TVs etc all work.

Because Knowledge Is Power.

But how do we know if a answer is true?
Or do i need to start a new topic for this question?

But how do those being asked know that the question is true? And if a question is false can the answer ever be true?

All part of life's rich tapestry. (But what does this even mean? and who am I asking?)

It's like God playing hide and seek with himself

Some will find themselves and some don't
