Many on this forum believe Ryan won by sympathy vote due to a controversial incident.


This has similarities to Shilpa and what happened with Jade Goody.


I was overseas then this series aired so don't know much about what happened. I know Jade became the most hated woman in Britain but then was later diagnosed with cancer. She allowed her cancer treatment to be documented because the money she would earn would support her children.

I would like to ask why public opinion switched from most hated woman in Britain to most loved ?

I was like 9 when jade died so I have no idea what was going on at the time did people really go from hating her to loving her?

O also fwiw I 100% think she earned forgiveness considering the stuff she done post the incident

People felt sorry for her I suppose, no matter how awful she was in the house she was still a mother to two young boys. Also she was liked before the Shilpa stuff happened. Imo she seemed more sincere than Roxanne aswell afterwards

She showed genuine remorse. A lot of people realised the other girls had a lot to do with it too. Jade personally apologised iirc, went on indian BB and basically fought to make things as right as she could (she could never take it back). As Niamh said, she was a mother to 2 young boys who she doted on and lost her life to that disease so early.

Jade apologised constantly and actually showed remorse unlike Roxanne

Jade made the mistake of entering the Indian BB,at that time she was still waiting for her test results . she was so eagar to prove she'd changed that she took part in the Indian BB ,but I think she should of stopped all the media attention .She got a call from her doctor whilst she was in India and had to travel back quickly. It's so sad & bizarre how severe her cancer was and it was too late .

But she should of stopped worrying about how the public perceived her ,shilpa already forgave her ,it wasn't just Jade in the whole Shilpa scandal .Danielle showed ZERO remorse , and Jo had a nervous breakdown and disappeared for some years.

I think people felt sorry for Jade as she was so young ,and it was just a bad mistake she made in CBB and it's not like she acted alone . And Jade had 2 innocent kids who lost her as a mother .

She didn't become the "most loved" she just gathered more support.

The sad thing was that BB made her and it ultimately killer her

It made her career and ended it.

I doubt BB gave her cancer. :umm2:

Ugh it’s kinda ****ty really. The whole situation was bad for everyone involved. What kinda did it for me was to me anyway jade seemed to be shocked at the effect she had in shilpa and the country following the incident and took ownership for it whereas jo and Danielle continually made excuses. Jade took full accountability and still got treated worse than the lower than sewer rat scum that is those two.

Also, Jade was extremely racist

The public are sheep.

The media were extreme in vilifying her during CBB and they jumped on the bandwagon. Then she got cancer and the headlines went from "Kill the racist!" to "In Loving Memory" and people started feeling sorry.

There is a difference between Racial Ignorance and Racism

Danielle was proper racist, Jade was a loud mouth trying to impress the "gang" that's how it came across to me (still out of order though)

Of course neither are acceptable but they are different things

When you look at Jades mother you could tell the poor lass never stood a chance in life

She was never loved as a child and Jack loved fame not her
