Working with Jack [Antonoff], I was in a little bit of a lighter mood because he was so funny. They are so good. I just like the title track so much that I was like, OK, I definitely want the record to also be called that.

Elsewhere in the interview, Lana said that she she hopes to release a book of poems and short stories, under the working title Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass. (She’s also training for her pilot’s license.) In addition, she said that she wants to release another new track in October.

I love these tracks, they remind me of her May Jailer days, she is really paired back too, no more huge lips and hair, just her natural self... but is she trying to lose album sales with a title like that?

The more I look at the photo the more I wonder why she picked it? her hand looks awkward, the face looks dead and the man just looks a bit out of place :umm2:

it's probably my favourite melodically :flutter: I had it on repeat for ages. tbf they're all my favourites, maybe except Bartender I always skip that one.

So she announced on Instagram today that she's releasing a new album in September. The thing is, nobody's talking about it because in the same post, she managed to throw basically every successful woman of color in music (Beyonce, Nicki, Cardi, Doja Cat, even Kehlani for some reason) under the bus, with a healthy dose of slut-shaming on the side :skull: She should have never dated that cop in the first place
