Kicked off her "poor me" act already

You'd think they'd be able to wait at least a week before they start all this nonsense. But here we are, DAY 1 and she's pouring her little heart out in the DR> "I'm feeling down".."I'm missing my boy" etc..

DESPERATE.

montblanc 16-09-2018 10:59 PM

she didn't even cry that much leave ha alone :oh:

JoshBB 16-09-2018 11:00 PM

Tbf it's a culture shock given that she clearly cares for her kid on an almost 24/7 basis. I'd much rather have 14 Zoe's than a house full of airheads with no depth

LaLaLand 16-09-2018 11:00 PM

Tbf she's a full-time carer for her 11 year old son, she's been with him every single day 24/7 for all of that time.

Pretty sure she's bound to feel strange and miss him at these early stages.

Really like her, proper "normal".

Tregard 16-09-2018 11:00 PM

People have feelings

storybrooke 16-09-2018 11:01 PM

it's only natural to miss your child

JoshBB 16-09-2018 11:03 PM

god forbid a housemate show EMOTIONS in the DIARY ROOM!!!!!!!!1

rusticgal 16-09-2018 11:04 PM

It is a bit soon to be crying but...she's a carer and she spends every day with her son..does he have special needs maybe?
Also she feels she's not fitting in with the other girly girls so she's feeling a bit out on a limb...maybe tats why she got teary.

I'm liking her at the moment...

She stated in her VT her son has additional needs and she's his full-time carer.

I guessed right then...thanks Jonni. No wonder she was missing him...

armand.kay 16-09-2018 11:08 PM

mess at y'all thinking being thrown into the big brother house wouldn't have a significant effect on your mood/emotions

It has been over a week that she hasn't seen him tbf, seeing as housemates went into hiding last Friday.

Ah that's very true! Didn't think of that.

Imagine being a parent anyway and doing this show, let alone being your vulnerable child's CARER. I'd be in bits.

Exactly! I've seen it all before with these Zoe/Jale types, I'm hoping that she'll break out of the bad stereotype within the next few days.

this too!!

Outside of Big Brother, 8 days without any contact with your additional needs son would not only be emotionally draining, but probably also grounds for social services to step in. oop

Garfie 17-09-2018 01:50 AM

I think her feelings were genuine and justifiable. As a full time career for a child with additional needs, she is going to find it strange to be away from him and is bound to worry about him. There could be feelings of guilt at leaving him as well.

And she also said she felt that she wasn't fitting in with the other girls, so was probably feeling quite alone and isolated. I think her reaction was understandable, given that she hasn't really had any time to adjust as yet.

I think she is a little bit different, and could be an interesting character.

I disagree , i think her emotion was genuine and her son is disabled .

Ana crying in the bathroom was more aggravating to me :notimpressed: .

Sounds like an X Factor sob story! Zoe can probably sing better than Anamelia too.

Crimson Dynamo 17-09-2018 09:14 AM

yep ,she looks alike a moaner and the tears were probably more because she is the least attractive girl

Beastie 17-09-2018 11:07 AM

She seems one of the most genuine housemates in there.

DrunkerThanMoses 17-09-2018 11:40 AM

I kinda rolled my eyes tbh. It's like when she said about missing her son I kinda thought why bother doing the show then and go be with him. I still like her so far but won't be dealing with her crying every episode

I found myself doing that, too. She signed up for the show, so will have known she'd miss her family, and prepared herself to cope with that.

Glenn. 17-09-2018 12:23 PM

Imagine missing your family though. What a monster

mr rochester 17-09-2018 04:25 PM

I think she feels a bit unattractive by comparison to the other girls. She said in her interview that looks don’t matter it’s who you are that matters. So I suspect she’s a bit hung up on her looks (as a comparison). That may have been the trigger that set her off and then it’s a natural progression to missing her child - which will be running in tandem with the actual reality of being in the house. She has been in lockdown for over a week beforehand so it’s all a bit overwhelming for her. Maybe she could try and befriend some of the girls and that might make her feel a little better.

I mean, even if she hadn't had seen her son 8 days ago and only said goodbye to him on launch night, it'd still be reasonable for her to miss her child

it's hardly like she's ****ing 'crying for the dads'... she's crying because she misses her disabled son for whom she's a 24/7 carer
