Weatherman caught faking Hurricane Florence wind conditions

The excuse given by Weather Channel:

“It’s important to note that the two individuals in the background are walking on concrete, and Mike Seidel is trying to maintain his footing on wet grass, after reporting on-air until 1:00 a.m. ET this morning and is undoubtedly exhausted,” it read.

I haven't watched the Weather Channel in so long... I remember when all their weather reports were elevator music and white text over blue backgrounds... honestly I don't remember there being so much color... oh and the endless all-weather tire commercials...

I learned a lot about weather just watching Hurricane/severe weather reports... storm systems are common here. Even the occasional pea-sized storm can be pretty spectacular...

But yeah, the "new" WxChannel is pretty cr*ptacular... the local news here is so good in comparison, there's really no point to even watching it anymore... or just go to Weather Underground and read the readings of one of my neighbor's stations down the road... or look at mine...

:joker: Haha, that's brilliant.

News channels love a good storm, lol. Some other videos of hurricane-hype, from previous years.
