Why is Tomasz so popular?
 

Every episode I keep thinking he's going to do something which explains why so many people are ~loving him, but I still don't get it. :unsure:

He literally hasn't done anything so far that has been memorable or entertaining (except for snoring)? I don't dislike him at all btw, he seems like a sweet, lovely guy, but I don't understand the hype at all.

He's quirky and funny and seems like a nice guy. I think he probably stands out with most people though because of how he looks, lets call a spade a spade but yeah I like him so far

Ive just watched the Banana video where he couldnt peel it, Nearly peed my self, I love him he is who he is and hes not scared to be himself. I just love how he speaks and what he comes out with makes me laugh. Him and Cameron still in the shower after the task had ended yesterday was funny.

Well his back story and the struggles he has had to deal with, his openness about it means people have taken him to their hearts , he seems very honest , he's done nothing at all (apart from snoring) to be in any way mean and he does do and say funny things, a good housemate all round.

He had a strong VT I like him as a person and he has made me laugh numerous times. Thats all I need

His more his overall vibe than what he has done, i guess

He's very unique, a bit naughty, but sweet - and compared to the usual parade of beach-ready BB hunks it's great to see someone different yet real like him

He's the "odd one", it always draws attention.

That being said, I like him so far. Not blindly on the Tomasz train, but he's absolutely fine.

He's genuine and likable, and people think he resembles Nadia, who is a forum fave a lot...

I think he is ok …. but so are many other housemates and they don't get as much love and praise as Tomasz. I think people love him more for what he "represents" rather than the person himself.

Made me laugh on every show so far. Great character.

I find him rather dull. I really don't see the appeal in him either. Yes he's a nice guy? And? Entertainment wise he isn't really doing anything. Although right now none of them are really that entertaining yet.

Actually it's because of who he is... such a sweet and unassuming guy who just is who he his...
If it was what he represents we would have all equally loved India... and that isn't a thing that happened.

It's because he's just so unapologetically himself, and it's amazing :love:

Although I do agree with the comments that his character is sweet and he is growing on me. He was highly popular even on launch night when we really hadn't seen him do anything yet.


I do think is fan popularity started on launch night with what he "represents" and this has grown with his own personal character.

i haven't made my mind up about him yet. He is not in any way offensive, doesn't hog camera time, he is just a refreshing "character". That's a good enough starting point from my perspective.

Right but... people always pick favourites on launch night based on VT and entrance... I mean did you see his entrance... with the fan... and the VT was everything. But also his character has kept him popular and keeps his fan base growing.

What I don't understand is why people are looking for reasons to be negative about him.

I was the exact same and didn't feel the same for him until last night

I feel bad but I had stitches laughing at how he fell from the podium and then told Cameron they should snog in the pool to stay in
Also my heart broke for him when he opened up about his experience with homophobia </3 what a lovely man

same, he is playing the victim role to a tee

It’s always gonna be the same with certain housemates, sometimes it seems like overcompensation

But yh like tomasz is very honest, kind, has quite a bit of fire in him, is pretty hillarous without him knowing it
