Today's tune takes us back to 1998, some 20 years ago (:omgno:) Wildchild - Renegade Master - Fatboy Slim's 1998 Old Skool Mix

Roger McKenzie (22 July 1971 – 25 November 1995) also known under his production aliases of Wildchild or DJ Wildchild, was an English musician and DJ. Born in Southampton, he released many singles on labels such as Hi Life Recordings, Ultra Records, and Polydor (UK). The tracks "Jump to My Beat", "Renegade Master" (famously sampling "One For The Trouble" by A.D.O.R.) and the subsequent "Renegade Master '98" were his most successful. Fatboy Slim's 1998 Old Skool Mix is perhaps the most famous version of "Renegade Master". "Renegade Master" was Wildchild's first hit single in 1995, peaking at #11 on the UK Singles Chart,[1] but was surpassed by the success of Fatboy Slim's remix "Renegade Master '98", which peaked at #3 in 1998.

"Funkytown" is a song by American disco act Lipps Inc. from their debut album Mouth to Mouth (1979). It was released as the album's lead single in 1980.

"Funkytown" held a unique record for reaching the number one spot in 28 countries, more than any other single release until Madonna's "Hung Up" reached number one in 41 countries in 2005.[citation needed] It reached the top spot in the United States, Germany, Canada, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, the Netherlands, and Australia, among many others

Oh, I've always loved this song, LT. It's a classic.

Generally accepted to be the first House music track to chart in the UK

1986. Used to dance to this in Rainbow Rocks, Stirling, back in the day when you would ask a girl to dance and dance the track until it ended sort of facing the girl, say thanks and go back to your seat or bit you were standing at in the club :skull:

Feargal Sharkey his hit A Good Heart, written by ''Show Me Heaven'' singer Maria McKee

also a nice fun fact Feargal is now a executive for a music company in Liverpool, and is also a proud supporter of Liverpool F.C.

One of my favourite 70's disco tracks ever.
