Uber Eats are trash

I ordered £30 worth of food from McDonalds for me and my family and their driver picked up the wrong delivery and sent me something else and when i contacted Uber they disabled my account for making a complaint and i spent 20 mins on the phone to them arguing that if they didnt refund me i would take legal action because it was their mistake so they eventual agreed to this.

When i called up the McDonalds they were a real help and offered to resend the whole food free of charge and will open their own claim against uber.

wow mess

sue them & get that dollar!!!!

Vicky. 22-09-2018 09:34 PM

You threatened to take legal action over them getting your order wrong?!

Ah well, you got a free meal from it, worry not. I might try mass complaining and see if I get anything free :D

Edit. Ah I think I misread, no free food..just free delivery charge. Ugh.

Marsh. 22-09-2018 09:42 PM

Why don't I believe that a) You spent £30 on Maccies and b) You bought food for other people?

Maccies chips get cold before you've even stepped out the store god knows what they would be like getting them delivered. Uber eats did you a favour.

Yes McD
understand the problems of more Uber Eat
orders than real customers at times.

And Now Uber is trying to buy Deliveroo

Ages ago my friend had a house party and ordered maccys with Ubereats and the chips were still hot. I think they use a bag that keeps heat in or something but everything was still hot when it arrived

Ammi 24-09-2018 06:46 AM

...I’ve never eaten an Uber before ...must be a bit crunchy to eat...
