So, that diary room scene with Cameron...

My icy heart melted. Bless him. That and the whole thing with Tomasz’s sleep were borderline emotional to watch.

BBDodge 23-09-2018 10:49 PM

He obviously planned to do that for his journey.

Rob! 23-09-2018 10:55 PM

I knew someone would accuse him of that.

There's no way he would do that on TV without telling his parents first.

And a week ago he was listed in the gay housemates thread on this forum, though he wasn't confirmed. He's not surprising anyone.

Uh yeah, that was me, and it was because he made a comment similar to what he said tonight. He was as 'confirmed' as he was when I posted it as to how confirmed he is now

And do what? Tell his parents his sexuality? He may only be eighteen but he's an adult, and adults don't need to tell their family anything... heck even if he was under 18 there wouldn't be anything wrong with him not telling his family

I'm not out to my family yet I'm out to everyone else. Why? Because at home it's not the 'environment' for it. Similar to Cameron, I first felt comfortable in my sexuality when I was around a few other gay people. My family are accepting and I have gay relatives but that doesn't change the fact I'm more comfortable about my sexuality in the presence of other LGBT+ folk

Also, even though he knows he's being televised, it's hard to contain your feelings 24/7. He's in an accepting environment every hour of everyday which he is seems very new to, it's no surprise he's coming to terms with personal things now (especially since 18 is still very young)

Like, we can theorise "this is his gameplan!" and assume that he is faking barely keeping himself together and his anxiety and his discomfort when LGBT is the topic at hand (but is conveniently not crying even though we know that'd win the public over) or, more plausibly, accept that Cameron's in a new, more accepting environment which is clearly benefiting him

(I feel bad discussing his identity but just my 2p)

I'm not convinced , if he's still talking in riddles maybe he's still confused?. I haven't watched it back yet though.

I hope he comes out when hes ready and comfortable about it
Hes got lot of supportive friends in the house.

I honestly don't get why people have to be so cynical about it. Cameron is by no means stupid but I seriously don't think he's the sort of person that would come up with this narcissistic masterplan to win the public around by coming out.

the theorising is just getting ridiculous

It would be hilarious if he left the BB house and pulled off his mask and revealed NASTY NICK :joker: . It was him all along it would be like a Scooby Doo mystery :hehe: .

muchadoaboutnothing 23-09-2018 11:36 PM

I didn't understand what he was saying in the DR, it was all confusing

Firewire 23-09-2018 11:49 PM

It's very important representation that I don't think we've had before. It might help a lot of people, it certainly touched me.

He implied it imo.

He's so young maybe he's still confused , my god i've never seen such a conversation full of riddles , he was so kyripic it was like he was talking in morse code :conf: !!! . I think he's too aware and worried about how he's being perceived .

But tbh that's fair enough he doesn't need to talk about those things . I also think he's a very private reserved person when it comes to sex and sexuality . Clearly he's also worried about his family . I'm still wondering if he's asexual or curious? . Who knows and who cares he's still a young person and despite his academic background he still has alot to learn and he's lacking in life experience .

Ammi 24-09-2018 05:37 AM

....awwww it was heartbreaking......and especially as such a contrast to Cian’s story of putting on some of his mum’s mascara and going into the swimming pool, so it had all run down his face...and then his dad just asking..’are you gay’..and him saying yep dad...poor Cameron.....

JerseyWins 24-09-2018 05:42 AM

Hmm just watched the episode and I didn't catch this. Must've not been paying enough attention or it was subtle enough where I didn't notice this

Thomas's looking like a giant blueberry blancmange in his pjs had me in tears.

Funny, I read the diary room thing completely differently.

From his youtube videos, he held some pretty vocal views around womens equality. I thought he was being careful not to vocalise them until the time was right

Obviously there's more to cameron than he's letting on. I'm not entirely convinced about the whole gay thing . But bare in mind his parents might not watch his youtube channel, whereas BB they will as he's on TV . I think he's very aware of that .

...but why would those views be a big thing about him which he hadn’t yet discussed with family and close friends...that wouldn’t kind of make sense Bots...
