Why did she throw away the mince...

what was that contaminated by, that wouldn't be killed off by normal cooking, did she think the lettuce was virulent :omgno: the salad had to be chucked as it had been contaminated with meat product so wasn't suitable for vegetarians/vegans....talk about over dramatic :joker:

JoshBB 24-09-2018 05:24 PM

:laugh2:

This whole situation is a scream

bitontheslide 24-09-2018 05:26 PM

Yeah, in fairness to Lewis, there was nothing wrong with his mince, which is why he was "confused".

rusticgal 24-09-2018 05:43 PM

He handled the raw mince then started hand picking the salad from a bowl. Had he tipped the salad into the pan with the mince in he would have been fine...either that or wash his hands then hand pick the salad.

so throw away the salad, the salad with the mince was going to end up cooked

Jordan. 24-09-2018 05:47 PM

Did anyone even want it? Seemed more like she was taking it away from him because he was acting like a child.

Mokka 24-09-2018 05:48 PM

Because no one cooks lettuce... and no one eats cooked lettuce

Oh yeah..didn't think of that...

MTVN 24-09-2018 06:01 PM

It was pure mean spirited

Was nothing to do with her anyway, it was Akeem who BB had instructed what to do

smudgie 24-09-2018 06:02 PM

BB had said it was cross contaminated, so safer to throw it.
And shut the ruddy oaf up from shouting his mouth off.

The greens used in Chinese cooking aren't iceberg or romaine lettuce they are stalkier and heartier. They break down differently when cooked.

Toy Soldier 24-09-2018 06:23 PM

Big Brother said to throw away the salad (in the bowl that had been touched by his raw-meat-hands), Akeem was confused and thought they had said to throw away everything... but they didn't actually say that.

However they probably did him a favour because if you're cooking meat & veg together, you really want to cook the meat first then add the rest, because the veg will be a sloppy overcooked mess by the time the meat has cooked through.

Not dangerous though.

Also there's very little risk from raw beef / mince in the first place, it's raw or undercooked chicken you have to be really careful with.

parmnion 24-09-2018 06:35 PM

Poor fella just wanted to soak up the beer. She should have tossed isaacs tshirt in the bin cause it was more contaminated by Lewis g's flailing grabby drunk hands.

Something I hate, as does isaac, hence the friendship ending.

Jason. 24-09-2018 06:35 PM

Who puts mince in salad?

RileyH 24-09-2018 06:36 PM

A waste!

exactly, no one was going to die from touching raw mince

Elliot 24-09-2018 07:19 PM

Why did Lewis g cross contaminate then start screaming like a banshee at everyone with barely any close ties on because the dangerous food had to be thrown away?

So many questions

Cause they were all crawling up BB bum, he knew, just like when he made the other Lewis...beardy vegan chops...look like a whiney vegan arsehole about the eggs and dairy....he also knew, that there was nothing wrong with the mince.

One of her best moments ever, shutting the twat down without having to say a word :clap1:

He was stirring it into raw meat... and needed to cook the crap out of it still... not lightly steaming it :fist:

Editing my love. Editing.

He wasn't about to eat 2 minute, 42 seconds cooked tesco mince.:joker:

susie q 24-09-2018 08:31 PM

I wouldnt want to eat anything made by that man either. I also think she did it as a reaction to him behaving like a spoiled brat.

That's my point. The meat was still raw when he stirred in the salad (lettuce). They shiwed the pan.... It needed to be cooked for awhile yet.
