Why is everyone falling for Akeem's act?
 

If most of the housemates have a problem with him then surely there no smoke without fire?

It is obvious he is being fake and sitting on the fence to gain votes

Only Issac, Tomasz and Cameron seem to have issues with him and the first two it is because they hate that he has mor big coins than them and Cameron moans about everyone so...

They just don’t like nice people

He isn't being fake he is being genuine and is generally a nice guy

Its very possible that he 'sits on the fence' so as not to involve himself in other peoples dramas. I mean, tonight he got blasted for apparently butting into conversations.

I'm not sure why the housemates have a problem with Akeem since we are not see much evidence in the highlight shows.

I kinda suspect that Akeem may be taking the role as self-proclaimed leader of the house and tries to make decisions for all the housemates without first getting their approval.

Also, some housemates may dislike Akeem's assumed role and question why he thinks he is leader without ever being elected by his fellow housemates

Sorry but there's nothing wrong with Akeem, only the HMs that dislike him. He's level headed, doesn't gossip and is dead drop gorgeous. Love to see him win.

They're just angry at how inoffensive/bland he is as a housemate. They probably think they are pleasing the viewers by doing it but honestly it just comes across randomly mean

As a person Akeem comes off like an alright guy, a bit smug but harmless in comparison to most of them in there who would drive me up the wall to live with.

As a Housemate to watch however he is one of the dullest to watch and would be a bad way to send BB out imo.

It's mainly Isaac, Cameron and Tomasz who have issues with Akeem

All 3 of them are the most competitive in there, they have all been the most obsessed with climbing the coin rankings

Akeem is top - so they resent him for it! It's exactly where they want to be!


Also he is a natural leader. A true alpha male is not someone aggressive, but is someone who others naturally want to be lead by.

Akeem takes charge in house situations. They probably resent him for that too (even though they themselves defer to his leadership quite happily.)

I must say, Akeem has dealt with them like a pro. He has gone way up in my estimations tonight after dealing calmly and respectfully with Isaac and Cameron's conflict towards him.

Nice guy. Trying a bit TOO hard to be the nice guy though. Bit cringy. Can't wait till Isaac tries to intimidate him again though. Man v boy.

..if it’s an act, then that act hasn’t revealed itself yet...so far all he’s appeared is genuine and a nice guy...it was mentioned by Cameron about him having the ‘power’ with his first place with the bits...but with any decisions that has given him, he’s always seemed to make choices which consider others...and being the leader doesn’t give the power anyway that some of the others seem to think it does...because Kenaley was the one who had the power to save Isaac, so it’s all a bit silly to see Akeem as the ‘threat’ in some way..Akeem is definately competitive in games etc...but In a healthy and positive way...a really nice guy..loving the Akeem..:lovedup:...

Isaac & Cameron look like idiots when they argue with Akeem , because he doesn't get riled up he just talks it out with them :joker:.

Where is all his support coming from? :skull: Still the same boring ****er he was at the beginning who's only getting airtime because of our Isaac :shrug:
