The crowd is so bad it’s ruining the evictions

They’re literally mute

Headie 28-09-2018 10:15 PM

I thought maybe crowd control were keeping them quiet when Emma was talking to the house.

No I mean in general too but like she doesn’t seem to be trying to keep them quiet this time either

They must be at least a bit interested, if they're attending a live show for Big Brother..

They were shopping at Tesco and had their cars clamped and told they had to attend the BB eviction to get them back?

Jase. 28-09-2018 10:48 PM

I think back to the days of THAT Grace eviction and weep!

JoshBB 28-09-2018 10:49 PM

Honestly they should just reach out to superfans and encourage them to come along. Guarantee an ex-HM or two for a meet&greet or something.. just get people who actually care about the show. Idk why the silence??

Maybe it's because of it being pre-recorded idk

supertv247 29-09-2018 12:10 AM

I think it's actually because, well... because there was no crowd

pontyboi 29-09-2018 12:13 AM

Only half the crowd space was actually filled.

Though they still managed to hear them when Emma was in the studio.

JerseyWins 29-09-2018 12:19 AM

Definitely the worst part about CBB21 and now BB19... the crowd reactions being heard in the house is one of my personal favorite parts of eviction night. Feels more like a competition, like the same way you hear the cheers and boos at a sports game, wrestling event, etc. :bored:

I think I remember the cheers and chants being a thing in CBB22 right? So not sure what happened to these two recent seasons unless it's just boring to the crowd (which I don't blame them with Lewis G being gone now :hehe:)

Jack_ 29-09-2018 12:28 AM

They're vile, I'd rather not hear from them

Also they're ruining the evictions again and it's ****ing me off

armand.kay 29-09-2018 08:47 PM

WHY did Emma speak to the house from outside it was so embarrasing hearing them struggle to be heard by them

Jordan. 29-09-2018 08:54 PM

It actually is embarrassing to see, I get shook now watching old evictions and remembering how big and loud the crowds used to be.

bwoty 29-09-2018 08:55 PM

The crowd are told at the beginning not to boo as it looks bad

She was inside, but she stands right by the doors and they insist on continuing their vile chanting knowing they want silence

She's going home, she's going home, she's going, Grace is going home!

I agree actually. Unpopular opinion but I like the idea of the housemates listening to the crowd chants - but not when they're being messy and just making noise and booing for the sake of it

Screaming at the stroppy security guard in the background

Dash Darington 29-09-2018 10:02 PM

I think the crowd is smaller now because they had to clear a spot for the cars to drive through on launch night. I don't think they expanded the audience section after that. That's why they're quieter. It's ~300 people instead of ~500.

That spot is literally just people standing on the ground - they’re still using it during Evictions

The crowd capacity is like 250, it was like 500 before BB17

.

rusticgal 29-09-2018 11:48 PM

The crowd chants always added atmosphere...but they also influenced the housemates and their 'friend' choices. However, they still get to hear the reaction as the evictee leaves..so it's pointless keeping them quiet.
