Decent Guy Nothing to hate !
 

Until he starts being an idiot , there's no reason for people to hate him :nono: .

I think he's a nice genuine guy , he puts Isaac ,Cameron & Tomasz to shame as they're just sour bitches! . And he's actually a gentleman and a strong person.

Lets hope when Akeem get's knocked off the first spot on the leaderboard then they can leave him alone! , every cloud and sliver lining ! .

Also even if Akeem HAS a game plan , what's wrong with that he's never been nasty to anyone:shrug:, and people in that house have treated him like crap . Isaac talks to him like dirt and Tomasz is extremely threatened by him and constantly trash talks him .

Isaac & Tomasz are both very selfish twats, and they'll always put themselves first . And if Akeem ever did the same then they'd bash him for it . Utter double standards hypocrisy :crazy: .

I’m giving him a pass because its great TV, but I do think there are reasons to dislike him.

yeah, he does have an air of superiority and that never sits well in a group like that, whether it's true or not

The Tomasz obsession with him is hilarious to watch though

..I don’t think he’s ‘strong’ or any stronger than anyone else in there, I should say...he was very nervous and anxious to hear the nominations this week because he knew he’d had criticism...and he was visibly shaky about that in what he was displaying...and that’s the thing I think that the other housemates see more..that he tries to place himself in a strength position of alpha or parent of the house...but he has no more strength than anyone else...and they don’t all respect him because he can be patronising in his delivery, which displays one of the worst traits of an alpha or parent..to patronise....he seems like a nice guy though...just flawed like we all are and definately not a strength of the house...Cian I would say is more of a strength and a leveller...he lifts people when he feels they need lifting and he doesn’t contribute to anyone’s downs...he just wouldn’t want to ever be in an alpha or any position of perceived strength...

He is a nice guy...nothing nasty about him at all.

Lewis, Akeem and Cameron are my three favourites. I love them all for different reasons.
The ladies in there aren't great, except Zoe who i like. But she still sticking with twat Thomas, urgh.

The harshness towards him in that house is so unwarranted to the point where it’s funny. There are people far more deserving of the criticism than him. I’m yet to see these people go as harsh on Issac or Cameron or tomasz. It’s so strange but also funny

Def a decent chap

He takes the lead when needed but does so in the fairest way he can. He makes sure that everyone is happy and has their say. Can't ask for more.

The people with the biggest beef with Akeem are Isaac and Tomasz - who are also the most selfish HMs in there.

So why do they dislike him?:


Maybe his fairness exposes their selfish ways?

Maybe they're jealous of his natural ability to take command?

Maybe daddy issues?

Says far more about Tomasz and Isaac than it does about Akeem imo.

I think he CAN be a bit inclined to take the dad role "take charge" when no one is really required to do so (e.g. getting them all round the table) but I don't think there's anything deliberately behind it, didn't even realise he was doing it, and I actually think he's taken the criticism on board and given it some thought which is to his credit :shrug:

I felt a bit sorry for him last night, he seemed quite lonely.

I don't know if the others seek him out for a chat or he has to go to them.

..yeah exactly my thoughts as well about him...I think he’s a nice guy but sometimes leadership isn’t required or a dad role isn’t required ..and he didn’t pick up on that and carried on anyway...we need a meeting guys...well no we don’t, we all want to do our own thing...THIS IS OUR GAME AS WELL AND YOU ARE NOT THE BOSS OF US...:laugh:...but he does listen to his criticisms and seems to take them on board...although I think he’ll always incline back to adopting ‘dad’ tbh...

He seems well balanced, I think he is being himself, he admits to being competitive, he is a target as they will want rid of him

I admire his ability to piss them off so much with absolutely no intention of doing so

He’s a pretty decent person but since we never get to see him much or get to know him because the more needy housemates hog all the air-time I still haven’t really got a strong or developed opinion on him...

I'd rather he won than some of the others.

I don't understand why Tomasz and Isaac dislike him. He seems really nice.
