Kay and Lewis are both in the wrong

Yesterday Kay tried to push Lewis to talk, when he didn't want to. Today Lewis did the same thing. I wish i could bang their heads together.
They just can't see how similar they are and that's why they clash

I was saying to my wife last night... they seem to be VERY similar in terms of how they think, but with major differences (almost opposites) in temperament, with Kay prone to getting down / almost depressed seeming, Lewis prone to anxiety and gets very agitated. It was an inevitable clash, really, because on an intellectual level they like and appreciate each other but in terms of actually interacting, they're totally incompatible.

It's the same with me and my oldest nephew. We're so similar in character that we always clash big time. I have to be really careful what i say and do around him.
Trying not to argue is a big challenge

Robodog 03-10-2018 10:52 AM

Yep

I found myself in a whole new position with last night's episode: i actually felt sorry for Kay

Both to blame overall for sure, but she clearly stated she didn't want to talk - yet Lewis kept pushing

I like Lewis but he let himself down over this

She did the same yesterday. So they're square

Kay is gone ... Lewis F is still there and he is an aggressive twat to those he thinks he can bully. Kay wasn't the first, and she won't be the last.

They are Vanessa...you are right. They were as bad as each other. Kay seemed to get away with it more because of her angelic voice and fake smile. Whereas Lewis is more passionate when putting his point across and he raises his voice.

They bring out the worst in each other. Probably better if they never see each other again.

..they’re both overthinkers is the crux of it for me...although they both release their emotions differently...and with Lewis F, I think...alcohol I think becomes a factor as well...although, maybe it’s a factor with Kay as well and enhances emotions for her as well...anyway yeah, both peas but entirely different pods in how they release...the gelling of personalities needs too many differences than they have...(..as BB housemates that is, I think they could gel better outside of that environment..)... to create the balances that is needed other than the paranoia enhancement than was happening...

He is not a bully...

Yes, maybe on the outside thye would get on better. But imagine them as a couple. They would be arguing all the time :joker:

Ammi 03-10-2018 11:02 AM

...none of it was helped by conniving Cameron either...his like for Lewis and dislike of Kay......always there to say the wrong thing at the wrong time and purposefully doing it and planting seeds of destruction...

He's not and neither is she. Their personalities just clash.

...possibly not on the outside though, Vanessa...when they weren’t both so aware and concerned about public perception as well...and both too concerned with not wanting to appear in any bad light...I think that’s a big factor in the house as well...

I still think there's a strong mutual attraction there.

...Cameron is looking out for Cameron, Vanessa...and Lewis is looking out for Lewis...they may like each other genuinely...but they’re both looking out for themselves and how any of their actions are being perceived and judged ...

I think their close friendship is genuine.

It's obvious how much they fancy each other. But personality wise, they clash.

Cameron won't turn on Lewis. And vice versa.

True, she did. And it was annoying how she poked at him.

That's why it annoyed me that he did the same thing back to her. I like him and didn't want to see him acting down at her level.

I think we all reach a point where we snap.

poppsywoppsy 03-10-2018 11:22 AM

I think Lewis has too much time on his hands, over thinking, blowing it up out of proportion and upsetting himself over not much.

Some can handle it but Lewis has more trouble than others.
