Is Akeem getting bullied?
 

Last nights plane altercation was rather infuriating. He was doing nothing then got yelled at by 4 different housemates and got patronised for sticking up for himself. These same housemates consistently goad at him. Is their behaviour crossing the shameful line into bullying?

IMO yes he is, it was wrong for him to speak ,but ok for Kenny ?

No I wouldn't say bullied. The only one who is attempting that I think is Tomasz but it seems like Akeem is un-phasable, I'm starting to like him alot actually :laugh:

Cameron is vile to him. I see he didn’t have a pop at Kenny when she was doing it, because she’d eat him for ****ing breakfast. Ugh, he’s honestly such a bellend. He did it with Kay as well, simply because she was not confrontational. I hope he gets ****ing beat up honestly.

He’s taking it amazingly well and it’s put him in my top 3 but that doesn’t excuse the behaviour

I agree. Akeem is such a placid, well-balanced guy, who doesn't rise to the bait in the face of considerable provocation, but Cameron, Tomasz and chums seem to think it's okay to have a go at him.

On the other hand, Cameron gets away with petulant, sulky, passive-aggressive and sometimes downright rude behaviour and everyone makes excuses for him.

I didn't understand Akeem or Kenny getting called out for learning the words like they were supposed to be doing.

Totally agree. Akeem has done nothing wrong to warrant so much hate from Cameron et al.

Not quite bullying yet, but it may get there. I fear Akeem's personality attracts this reaction. He's not a street fighter, and comes across as a little bossy and a little arrogant, all traits that potential bullies will rise to. The silver lining is that the likes of Cameron and Tomasz will begin to lose fans as this goes on, and Akeem might get his ticket to the final if people begin to feel sorry for him.

in all honesty it's starting to get uncomfortable viewing and i don't find a lot of shet uncomfortable ! cameron n his minions attacking him for literally breathing and what makes it so uncomfortable is a) he didn't do anything in the first place and b) he doesn't retaliate he just smiles and laughs it off so it's very one sided

People may target Akeem, but I don't think he would be bullied, he has too strong a character.

I think what Cameron did and what 3 other housemates have been doing fits this description

Ive put yes, but I think at worst its bullying of the playground variety. I like Akeem and think he is giving a masterclass on how to handle bullies. That is remain calm, dont rise to the bait, and most of all do the thing that annoys them most and ignore them. Its also fun watching Cameron, Lewis, and Thomaz (especially him) digging there own graves.
However if Akeem does finally snap, (and i wouldnt blame him if he did) I hope give it to them all both barrels. Akeem is fast becoming my favourite.
