Lewis in the bath with Isabella

Now first of all, I love Lewis. BUT

Did anyone else notice how dismissive he was of Cameron when he was in the bath with Isabella? Like Cameron came over to talk to them and Lewis was like "I'll speak to you when I get out" sort of thing. Like it kinda felt like he was shooing him away. Like it was like when your friend starts seeing a new guy or girl and suddenly cba to spend time with you anymore.

Just wondering if i read to much into it or if others felt he was quite dismissive too.

Cameron is going to be the green eyed monster and resent Isabella

Captain.Remy 08-10-2018 07:19 PM

He was horny, let him be.
And Cameron is about to do a Zoe in 2-3 days once he will be fed up with his bff trying to get in Isabella. But oh well

smudgie 08-10-2018 07:19 PM

They were on a pamper session.
They hardly wanted moaning Minnie bringing the mood down.
What on earth was Cameron thinking of, playing gooseberry like that.

RileyH 08-10-2018 07:21 PM

I wouldn't want to speak to Cameron either

Yeah, I just said on another thread:

"I also found his comments about Cameron to Isabella in the bath in last night's episodes to be patronising and self-serving, and probably hurtful to Cameron if he had heard them."

He WAS basically "shooing Cameron away" because he was busy flirting with a girl... which isn't really the most considerate thing to do, given everything. I mean it's fine to want to talk with someone else for a bit, but he did do it in a dismissive and patronising way, and then he started sort of bigging himself up to Isabella with it talking about how young Cameron is and how he's like a big brother / teacher for him... which was quite simply using his relationship with Cameron to try to impress the new girl :umm2:. Me and my wife gave each other a ":omgno: can't believe he just said that!" look when it happened...

He was probably jealous. One because he has a bit of a crush on Lewis, and two just because he's his close friend in there and he's probably worried about someone else taking away from that (much like Zoe's jealousy with Cian).

I mean who wouldn’t ditch pennywise for the lovely Isabella

i guess i've just never been like that, the whole gooseberry thing, i never mind having another person around when i'm hanging out with a dude i like (unless the dude and my friend start flirting, which has happened once or twice )

I think it would annoy me if I was on a pamper session and someone else came to check what I was talking about or something, which was how it came across

Something similar to that HAS happened to me actually. Was on a spa day with my mam, and some squawky person I know recognized me when we went for a drink in the bar bit and kept insisting on talking to me even though I made it clear I was there to relax, she seemed to think that because she had broken up with her boyfriend that should mean I sit and listen to her whinging rather than enjoy the day I had paid for. Anyway, extracted myself, and we went into the specific 'relaxation room' thing, not sure if all Banantynes have them or not, but if they do then people who have been there will know what I mean. And this ****ing idiot came into that bit, despite not being there for the spa, only for the bar, to try and get me to talk again. Now at that stage I did just say **** off and take the hint. But maybe I am less...diplomatic than most.

So I guess thats a kind of similar situation, though of course, this person was someone I wished to avoid as I don't really get on with her anyway and she was just looking for someone to whinge to, which I was trying to avoid also as I just did not care about whatever drama she was twisting about. Either way, I understand the...'get lost' type reaction to someone trying to insert themselves into your treat day

Yeah i totally thought that too! When he started saying in a proud way that Cameron is like his little brother. Like it just came across a bit like "look how amazing i am for taking the little one under my wing"
I can't stand it when people drop their friends for someone new, i've been on the receiving end of that too many times myself and it feels horrible lol.

Yeah I agree with that. I mean, as a teen I would have to be honest and say that I had it done to me plenty and did it to other people plenty... it definitely doesn't feel good when on the receiving end, and it's surely something people should grow out of by the time they're in their 20's like Lewis. Someone should probably tell him that girls will be more impressed by seeing him actually be a good friend, rather than chasing his friend out of the room and then bragging about being a good guy :joker:.

I mean, i totally get why gooseberry's can be annoying  but that's the major difference though, Lewis and Cameron have been almost inseparable, then suddenly a nice looking girl joins him for a bath and he has no time to hear his mate out, smh

Well he did dismiss him, but it was because he was having a bath with a beautiful woman

MTVN 08-10-2018 10:14 PM

Yeah Lewis was quite patronising and dismissive but given that he was in the middle of something that he had given up his coins for I'm not surprised that he wasn't very interested in Cameron poking his nose through the wall telling him how 'it's all kicking off out there', especially because he presumed that they might be slagging him off. It's happened before when Lewis has been in the bath Cameron has come in telling him how everyone is bitching about him so he might have thought that was happening again

Too true.:joker:

Although even I don't know if I'd rank to hang around a woman with a plastic personality, know matter how attractive they may be.
