Iranian Officials Uphold Ban On Women Attending Football Matches
Can't believe we live in a world where women are still treated like property and second class citizens ...well i can but it's disgusting
Iran’s prosecutor general has said that there will be no repeat of women watching football matches inside stadiums, saying it would “lead to sin”. https://i.imgur.com/sTQMp5P.jpg?1 “I object to the presence of women in Azadi Stadium yesterday. We are a Muslim state, we are Muslims,” Montazeri said, according to the conservative Mehr news agency. “We will deal with any official who wants to allow women inside stadiums under any pretext,” he added. “When a woman goes to a stadium and is faced with half-naked men in sports clothes and sees them it will lead to sin.” Women have been barred from attending football matches since the 1979 Islamic revolution, with clerics arguing they must be protected from the masculine atmosphere and sight of semi-clad men. https://i.imgur.com/G5pYptA.jpg?1 They have also worried about the crush of men and women when leaving stadiums. There had been reports that women would also be allowed to attend the return match of the 2018 AFC Champions League semi-finals on November 23, but Montazeri warned sports officials that he would not allow it. “If this is repeated I will order the Tehran prosecutor to act,” he said http://www.punditarena.com/football/...4zK0YVzi6i9rEo |
yeah, all the evidence around the world from millions of football matches shows that women lose all self control when witnessing 22 men in shorts

Of course |
Oh yeah, they might accidentally brush up against someone of the other gender as they leave the stadium - that, coupled with those football kits, who knows what could happen! The saucy little minxes might get carried away with the excitement of the whole thing and even show a bit of their hair!

There's an Iranian film about this subject called Offside. I heard about it years ago, and I've always been interested in seeing it.
