SHILPA Shetty and controversies go hand-in-hand . After Richard Gere and his Shall We Dance moves were gradually becoming history, Jade Goody has returned to Shilpa's life. British regulator Ofcom has asked Goody to apologise to Shilpa again for the Big Brother


racial slurs. Ask Shilpa about it and she sounds cool, a trait that has kept her in good stead in these one-controversy-a-day times. "I am so over Big Brother," she says, adding, "But if there are any apologies being offered, I will accept them."

But the show has been responsible for turning around her fortunes. "My life has changed dramatically after it. I never expected to be this popular. All of a sudden, I am more than a Bollywood star I am a Big Brother idol," Shilpa says.
