What day do you expect Richard Branson to come into the BB house?? I think he will make a special & exciting entrance, do you??

Richard Branson, owner of Virgin & "Virgin Media", is meant to be making an appearance in the BB house, some time during the show.

I think it could be later on?

But perhaps he will make an early entrance, before housemates start going, one by one?

But I just have this idea:eureka: That Richard will do something extra special & he won't just walk through the main entrance.

I think it could be right in the middle of some special task that BB designs for the housemates.

Any views??

Not gonna happen, I'm afraid!

Ruth*Star 03-06-2007 05:11 PM

Actually inside the house? Cool if he is, i'm assuming hes in on some sort of task.

big-mouth 03-06-2007 05:18 PM

he wont go in, they may do it in a celeb series, but not in the main summer series, and im sorry but that came from the daily star:bored:, has anything in the star ever actually turned out true? that 'valhalla' is a good ride though:elephant:

ShadowEye 03-06-2007 05:23 PM

Nope, there's almost a 100% chance that that won't happen.

the_chosen_one 03-06-2007 05:28 PM

Yes Nick, I think you're right. I've heard the rumours and I think it would be a good way for Richard Branson to draw extra attention to his companies name.

Matt 03-06-2007 05:30 PM

I doubt it will happen.

Bells 03-06-2007 05:33 PM

Actually, I remember hearing this rumour! Well, I guess it'd be interesting if he did but it depends what we went in for and what he'd have to offer. I couldn't really see it happening it before, and not sure if I can now to be honest, but it sounds like a cool enough idea.

Richard Branson On Big Brother
June 2nd, 2007 by Kerry in Hot Topic News

VIRGIN Media sponsors Big Brother 8 and the company’s boss Sir Richard Branson, is said to be going to make a special guest appearance on the show.
This will be a huge surprise for the housemates this year.

Big Brother are planning to have Richard give the contestants a task probably business related and he will then see them do the challenge and will then return 24 hours later to reveal who the winner is in which he will then hand the winner a special reward.

A show source said “What better way to show how pleased we are having him as Big Brother sponsor than by having him on the show”

During the series of Big Brother 8 all Virgin Mobile customers will be able to enjoy free text time between the hours of 9pm and 10pm only on Eviction Fridays.

Virginmedia.com are also launching a Fantasy Big Brother on May 31st and the portal will also feature exclusive updates from some celebrity video columnists.

Also available will be an exclusive interview with each housemate as they depart the show, which will be available on Virginmedia.com and Virgin Mobile Bites.

And if that’s not enough and you are a true dedicated Big Brother fan you can watch 24 hour live streaming of the show via your Virgin Media broadband connection and also gain access to clips of the show.

Virgin Mobile are giving each evictee and runner-up and also the winner will receive a U600 mobile phone from Samsung, the official handset provider.

I don't think he'll come in to be honest.

J.C. 03-06-2007 05:36 PM

Nice idea. If the series is going well and it is viewed as 'a Happy House' then he is bound to want to pull some stunt or other. It would probably happen very late on tho.

nodisharmony 03-06-2007 05:43 PM

Like the article above says:-

Richard Branson is going to enter the BB house.

There will be a ((( TASK )))

involved, business, of course!!!

Did anyone see:- Rebel Billionaire??

Richard likes to get stuck into things like this.

I could see him walking into the BB house, with a sweater or something with (VIRGIN MEDIA) written on in bold letters.

Advertising is the name of the game

I think a task set by him would be a good idea and interesting viewing but for any other reason it would be slightly pointless.

I agree Dan_:thumbs:

The task that Richard will set, will be a very big & exciting task. It may take some special props or something certainly never done beore.

He is like Quentin Tarantino in a way.

When you do something, it has to be special, or not at all.

I think it could be something on the lines of a task like they get on the apprentice, perhaps split into teams to design or come up with some sort of product and Richard could decide the winning team and they will be rewarded.

You know how Sir Richard Branson thinks Dan_:wink:

That's exactly the thing that Richard is very likely to do.

He might offer the winner, some sort of prize. It always has to be a competition with Richard. He likes to see excellence in people.

I watched "Rebel Billionaire" & loved it.

Your suggestion is very close to Richard's kind of thinking:eureka:

He seems an okay guy and should be running the lottery instead of the shady conartists camelot, but why really, why?

Glenn. 12-06-2007 08:50 PM

Richard Branson? I doubt he will even contenplate going in there, even for publicity!
