From story about how dalek was the first thing she got turned on at as a woman and how she chose her designer vagina, to her demandind to be referred to as a real woman and her dragphobia saga. She was bloody fantastic. And she’s quire unique in the sense that trans people on this show are usually heroic characters and come out on top whereas India was an out and out villan at the time that sparked a national conversation after trying to come on to ginuwine. Interesting, layered, showed vulnerability but also aired her grievances with the other housemates, and not to mention iconique! Were we robbed of a legend when she was evicted over fking Johnny Mitchell?

I think she suffered because she was in probably the worst cast house ever. Any other year and I think she would have flourished. The misgendering thing killed her from the off, and because it was all women at the launch, her being marked as “different” probably hurt more. If it had been a bog standard mixed house from day one, I suspect the outcome would have been different. The public voting for plank of wood Jonny was ridiculous. The casting was terrible though. Ann Widdicombe for me never entered into the spirit of Big Brother, Rachel the same, while Ashley, Malika and Genuine may as well have been cardboard cut outs. Andrew Brady was sleazy fame hungry fake desperate. Amanda Barrie seemed off her head, Maggie whats her name was zzzz and all the men bar Wayne were dull as ditchwater. People compare LewisF to a cult leader - but I’d say Courtney was a bigger one. Summing up I think any other year India would have done well. Think we see her true side more on Bots, and her Twitter stuff is great. She lovs Big Brother and cares. I’m a Fan.

If it ever comes back, she deserves a second chance, with a proper cast, in Ultimate / All Stars Big Brother

I'll only remember her for "I'm a woman!".

Amanda and Ann were my winners. The others I thought nothing of tbh.

I only watched for Amanda, out of loyalty to anybody who had been in. Bad Girls (no joke did the same for Stephanie Beacham and Claire King). Was a bonus it was someone who played one half of my favourite characters (Bev and Phyl).

Ended up loving Ann because it was warming to see somebody stick to her beliefs and not let Courtney continue to proverbially poke the bear (which happened a lot).

India screamed filler to me, same with Maggie and the lads. Their early evictions cemented it to me. Could India have done more? Maybe. But when your only argument is about being trans, it gets a bit jarring.
But then of course, the editing played a big part in that.
