Well there's that producers vs Channel 5 angle Lewis' family/friends tweeted too. So I could see BB not wanting to kick him out for that kind of comment, but C5 not wanting to deal with a controversy just a week before they wash their hands of the show.

If that’s the real reason then that’s pathetic,, a slip of the tongue is definitely not ejection worthy and a tasteless, misjudged joke should only really receive a formal and final warning imo, I’d take everything The Sun says with a pinch of salt, but if this is the case the. It doesn't make any sense to be kicked out over that. If it wasn't aired or directed as an insult at anyone to cause the housemates to discuss the situation further it literally could have just been swept under the rug.

Viewers were shown the moment the 27-year-old from Stockton-on-Tees was called into the diary room and told to leave.
