I do think he is faking it especially with his shy act if you watch his youtube videos he is completely a different person.

I agree it’s so painful to watch Cameron.. i can see right through him I have right from the start! il give it to him though he has played the game to a tea!

He knows what he's doing. Though he is the product of his environment, he's been cast as the baby by the housemates and has played on it.

The way he pretends to be a bit dumb in situations sometimes is fake.
The way he jumps at the smallest thing ie:BB making an announcement to the house is also fake.
His rapid eye movements when in the diary room to seem he is on edge (a tool actors actually use) so also fake.

So to sum up. FAKE.
