Sound dips on Livefeed.

Does anyone else think there has been alot less sound dips during the day so far this year compared to last year.

Last year the livefeed during the day was almost unwatchable thanks to the walking sound dips Pete & Lisa.

You can actually listen to the odd conversation this year.

The sound dips are better this year, last year it put me off watching live feed because of the ammount of sound dips they had but they have been alot better this year.

Cody™ 04-06-2007 01:34 PM

yep i agree. u can actually understand a conversation this year lol

MarkWaldorf 04-06-2007 01:35 PM

Definately! Although, you get better live feed in the late mornings. I literally sat through a whole 2 hours of live feed last night, without many sound dips. But back on topic, I have noticed. Although, I still feel as if we should get less. Especially when you're using the live feed online, from Virgin etc as you still get them.

I am so used to the sound dips lol.. I actually think though the birds around here are copying the live feed dipping sound just to confuse me

You would think that during the day there should be a livefeed where if you enter your pin code for sky and prove your over 18 you get the livefeed which doesn't block out the swearing like in the night.

There are Films on the day which are 15's or 18's and you have to enter your pincode to watch them. You would think the same sort of thing could be sorted out for Big Bro.

That is a very good idea  Shame they don't do that!

Considering how Popular Big Brother is you would have thought that Channel 4 could have sorted something out by series 8.

Amy 04-06-2007 01:54 PM

This is true.. i can't believe they've not thought of it for a while.. yet, I suppose they would still have sound dips for things mentioned about celebs or products etc. If you get me?

RAS 04-06-2007 02:00 PM

Yea, obvioously there is always going to be sound dips, but you would have to think that atleast.....70-80% of the sound dips are down to swearing. So to have 80% less sound dips in the day would be rather good.

Good idea about the PIN code thing.

If it wasn't a free service they would have sorted something out by now RAS, but since it's not bringing in any revenue, they don't care enough to do it.

This is because the housemates dont swear as much!

they dont do that because its not all about swearing its so that you still have to watch the chanel 4 show to find out stuff. and to protect personal information 2.

they cant do it for instance the shilpa thing they cant risk viewrs no mater what age hearing anything like that agein.

They aren't allowed to broadcast anything that may get them into trouble, say for instance a housemate said a certain brand of toothpaste gives ulcers or their next door neighbour is a peeping tom, it might be true but they could potentially get sued for broadcasting it.

Ahhh, much as that makes sense, I bet everyone would be watching the live feed if they were allowed to broadcast things like that hehe.
