Trump demanded the CNN Reporter
to sit down.

As he went on about the wrong things.

[Trump slams 'rude, terrible' reporter at midterms news conference]

[The president has had a hostile exchange with a reporter from CNN over questions
over his stance on immigration and the Russia investigation.
"I am not concerned about anything with the Russia investigation because it's a hoax - that's enough, put down the mic," he said.
"CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person - you shouldn't be
working for CNN. The way you treat Sarah Huckabee and other people is horrible.
"When you report fake news, like CNN does a lot, you are the enemy of people."]

Jacky Rosen was one of my favourite senatorial candidates this season, right up there with Beto O'Rourke.

[Trump on meeting with likely Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi
"We had a very warm conversation - she loves this country and is a very smart woman," he says.
"We didn't talk about impeachment.
Do you impeach someone because
he created the greatest economic success
in our country? Let's impeach the president, then the vice president....
"These people are sick and they cause division."]

Not the big pick ups the Dems wished for. I dont think there will be enough support for impeachment with just the house and not the senate. Trump still has alot of support. I think he's gonna be there for the full term and if they run lightweights like Cory Booker and Kamal Harris against him in 2020 he might win again . Unless he does something crazy like invade Canada Donnie may be here for a while

I notice last night on the news they made a big thing about a Muslim woman and a Mexican woman bring elected to congress and said hardly anything at all about the Native American women voted in for the first time. I'm not surprised though, it's pretty typical.

I was highlighting the continuous overlooking of Native Americans. They're not illegals. They're originals.

Whatever her name is, Crazy Eyes, has been getting a fair bit of media attention lately, so she'd make the news either way tbh

They (media) don't really care. It's always been catering to very specific demographics. That's why I think tend to believe Intersectionality is just a cover for a modern day racism. And yes anti-Semiticism as well, apparently.

It's really dubious to elect people based on their color rather than their policies/character. Most Americans are mixed-blood anyway.

GOP Elects First Korean American Woman To Congress. But You Wouldn’t Know It.

It could also be they didn't cite the Native American lady because it probably would've brought back up the Elizabeth Warren genetic test debacle. The test showed she was whiter than White-Out, and she was particularly notorious for using Native American "heritage" to get votes.

To be fair, I don't know that I would want to make a big kerfuffle about it in the media either. It would detract from that lady's legitimate win. You know the different groups that will take credit and make it about them. That's what it ends up being about... not why she was elected, learning about her constituency, etc, but rather, the list of mainstream folk we can "thank" for "making it possible".

NM is actually on my top list for a visit. I want to go on a painting/photography trip. Maybe Arizona too. I've been on the West end of here and it's beautiful the further that direction you go. I'm kind of a plains/rocks/sand type of person.
