How long should BB take a break for?
It might be a very long time but considering how it was on for so long, its inevitable it will be back ONE day, although we might be talking decades (I doubt it would be that long but yeah)
How long would you say the ideal length of time for BB to take a break for? I'd say at least 4 years like Australia did, maybe when Love Island dies down, maybe c4 could bring it back in 2025 for an anniversary or ****ing hell imagine if c5 took it back as soon as Ben Frow left :hehe: |
3 years maybe, and then 20th anniversary on Netflix :flutter: something completely new to celebrate the anniversary for the franchise

Take a year off and come back in January 2020 for a celebrity series...overkill on Channel 5 has destroyed the ratings! The show needs a rest.
|
Come back next year on channel 4
|
Probably in 2021 when the LI hype dies down, and I don't see The Circle lasting that long as well...
|
5 years minimum
|
FOREVER
|
10 years
|
2 months and then we're back with CBB :cheer:

and yes CBB has a whole different more fun vibe, and the recent CBB they had gotten quite good celeb signings i thought |
5 years by then hype should be back and LI fever would have probably died down not to mention new celebs for CBB seeing as they have currently run out and are having to constantly recycle the same ones.
|
I'd hope no more than one year.
I think any longer than that, it would be too easy to just then fully consign it to TV history. |
2/3 years
|
1 year ideally lmao. I love BB okay!
|
At least 5 years, preferably 10.
|
I'm surprised by people saying 1 or 2 years, are you not completely exhausted with the way channel 5 have milked the show?
Or have you not been watching for long? |
A 1 or 2 year break and then a return with one celeb and one normal series a year would be enough of a rest!

The show as it was died a long time ago. The show is horribly dated. |

I always think they MILK it too much with 2 CBB's aswell as a Civilian each year .There's no time to rest , there's no time to change things for the better or come up with fresh new ideas. It's just out dated and stale . And production have made a mess of it :notimpressed: . |
This issue we run into here is the longer the break is, the more likely it becomes the house will be torn down, and once that happens, the odds of another broadcaster taking it on becomes a lot smaller.
It's either going to be gone for a year or a decade, I fear. |
