What exactly is her actual story?

If she wins the 100k she will set up a business...that's great but what about the time and effort involved, even running a business at home would be very time consuming ? I thought she had to give up work to be a full time carer

Her son isn't physically disabled so a big part of being a full time carer IS simply being at home and available. My daughter for example, other than school, can only be with us or with close family for a short time (e.g. For us to attend a wedding or even just occasionally go for dinner). So in terms of work, we have to structure it so that one of us is home at all times.

Having two of us here makes that a possibility; if (God forbid) we broke up or something happened to one of us and thus leave a single parent family, its very likely that that person would have to give up work and become a carer full time, OR find a way to flexibly work from home.

I think Zoe would just spend the money on other things, and probably save some for her son .

People always say they're going to do something huge with it ,but in reality it takes a lot of hard work . It's usually easier to say you'll do wild dreams until you actually get the money and either blow it all or save it for a rainy day .

I don't know what her sons diagnosis is, but generally speaking disabled children have the same access to school, after school clubs, breakfast clubs, and in addition there is respite as a non disabled child so it is possible to in addition they get transport to and from school either by taxi with an escort or by bus. I worked in a school for special needs for 8 years and most of the parents worked even if it was part time and we are talking profoundly disabled kids with severe learning and physical disabilities. I do understand your point that some autistic children have to be with their parents or a close relative, but obviously Zoe does have that support otherwise she couldn't have done the show

isn't it a daughter that she has :skull:

chuff me dizzy 05-11-2018 12:27 PM

She's said he is autistic which is worked out on a scale, but if he wrote the letter from home he clearly isn't badly autistic as it was a well written letter ,as Cherie rightly says he will go to school ,so what does she do all day ? If she can work ( set up small business) if she won the money would she take him with her? She's using him to gain pity for the win IMO

Her "business" isn't anything where she would have to leave every day to go to her cooperate office lol she simply wants to buy 1 or 2 caravans which is hardly hard work just booking/cleaning for a bit of extra income.

Just checked and the nearest beach is only 18 miles away so yeah. My grandfather has 10 caravans 90 minutes away and they basically take care of themselves.

Handouts?

She's playing Big Brother, for which there is a cash prize at the end.

Get over yourself.

Well that's your small minded judgmental "opinion" which you're entitled to.

Anyway in answer to the entire thread Zoe said she would want to buy a few caravans so that clears that up :)
