Dermot's tribute [+ Matt Willis]

Flat out yesterday, so apologies for tardy nature of message. Candles lit for Big Brother. Alongside T4 , BBLB is where I served my apprenticeship. Worked, laughed, ‘stood stone like at midnight’ and grew up with some of the most fun, smart, hard working people I’ve had the pleasure to know. Too many to name , but special mention in dispatches to @susyprice1 Deborah Sargeant and Phil Edgar Jones...
And learnt from the best @davinamccall . Thanks BB and all that sailed in her. It was a hoot.

this has more merit than last night's BOTS

Niamh. 06-11-2018 02:13 PM

The true spin off king of Big Brother  That's a great picture too of him and Davina

Jules82 06-11-2018 02:25 PM

Brilliant picture, love them....

Epic. 06-11-2018 02:26 PM

Wow I can't believe one post had more homage to the show than that awful final BOTS

Dermot...

Dermot was brilliant on BOTS...remember the real phycologists who knew what they were talking about. Just loved them...it was a good show then.

This woman is my absolute world! This show has meant so much to her and has been a part of our life for as long as I have known her. She has never missed an episode. We have watched Big brother on holiday, at weddings, in hospitals, in the back of cars and all over the place. Goodbye for now BBUK!

Emma is so secretive that this glimpse to her personal BB experience in Matt's post is heartbreaking
I was under the impression that she has lost interest in it somewhere around CBB18. I guess I was wrong.

She's lovely and I'm glad she go that job after C5 were stupid enough to give up on her at first and give it to Brian.

Leave Brian alone :oh: He should have got the BOTS job originally though

It's true, BOTS would've been great for him. And still they had Brian and Emma as options and they chose the one who is not a presenter to lead it.
It's a shame. They could've spared Brian the embarrassment of getting fired. Him on BOTS and Emma on the main show from the start could've lasted to these days.

100%, I have always felt that Brian would've been a perfect fit for BOTS

Loved all that. Remember there used to be a whole 1hr show just of those psychs (on sundays i think), geoffrey beattie, linda p etc ?

That was BB sideshows at their most intelligent and satisfying

Big brother on the couch! Loved it!
It was another place for Davina to shine and the psychologist were wonderful - loved Geoffrey and the Italian (?) woman that I forgot her name.

Emma appreciation to Paul :clap2:
He did such an amazing job. That's what happens when a true BB fan takes care of the show and listens to criticism.

I looked forward to those Sunday shows because I found them fascinating...all part of the Social experiment watching how they diluted their mannerisms and reactions. Fascinating.
Unlike the stupid Judy James who seemed to falsify their behaviour on her own personal judgement on the housemates.
