If he didn’t come out, he wouldn’t have won
The coming out gave Cameron the win. His only good moment
|
i thought you would have liked him
|

|

....he also moaned and stropped a lot which was highly entertaining.
|
Exactly. He won because he did something.
|
However no one can say for sure it did or it didn't.
If he hadn't been gay, he and Lewis connected right off anyway. Cameron said that in his interview. He and Lewis had always been close. Even before the coming out, Cameron had never been nominated enough to be up for eviction. So most likely would never have faced the public vote. Had Lewis not been ejected, Lewis would have won I'd say easily. With Lewis going, Cameron coming out or not, still because of their incredible close bond, the bulk of Lewis's support would still have gone to Cameron, than any of the others. |
Very likely he wouldn't have.
|
I think he would have won without coming out and without the Lewis factor.
He was simply far and away the best person in there. |
Yes it was....well played Cameron. You certainly knew how to play the game
|
They had good housemates this year although imo no one really winner worthy, I'd say the closest were Lewis F, Zoe and Akeem, but none of them compare to Pete Bennett, either Brian or Nadia!
|
and?
Isabelle wouldn’t have won if she hadn’t stood up to Lotan. Jason wouldn’t have won if he hadn’t evicted Lateysha. Helen wouldn’t have won if she didn’t have a pass to the final. what is your point |
He made a mockery of coming put you only be to do it once not a million times

Cameron probably wouldn't have won without Lewis being there and also wouldn't have won if Lewis wasn't kicked out. |
I and many others loved Cameron before he came out. In fact, I stopped liking him after he came out (although not for that reason - see Macie's GORGEOUS thread for reasons why I wasn't big on him after a certain length of time) but after he spent less time with Lewis I went back to enjoying him more. He had times when he wasn't enjoyable but it wasn't enough for me to think "he's an AWFUL winner"
Objectively I'd say he's a good housemate and therefore a good winner. Week 1 me would be over the MOON and tbh if I actually cared about the series now I probably would be happy at Cameron winning. But even if my faves Sian and Brooke got to the final and won, I would still feel the same But short story short, Cameron became unbearable to quite a number of us after a period of time and he managed to win some of us over weeks after coming out. I won't lie, he will have gotten support from coming out, but I honestly think he could've beaten Akeem regardless |
omg thanks for the shoutout bab

70% of the Big Brother's audience is female
The age group the show is most popular with is 45-54 year olds The show is considerably more popular with lower middle class and working class viewers than it is with middle or upper middle class viewers Nearly a quarter of viewers live in the north of England , which is the region that most loves BB. 19% are in London. Scotland (14%) and Wales (7%) care far less keen on Big Brother |
False: He won because he got literally all of Lewis's votes and Lewis was heavy favourite to win.
[edit] I know people like to say "he did it on his own merit" etc. but it's a simple fact that the most likely finishing order had Lewis still been there would have been 1. Lewis 2. Akeem 3. Cameron |
