WorldWar1 100 years old - Bloody Serbs

[On 28 June 1914, Gavrilo Princip, a Bosnian Serb Yugoslav nationalist, assassinated
the Austro-Hungarian heir Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo, leading to the July Crisis.

In response, on 23 July Austria-Hungary issued an ultimatum to Serbia.
Serbia's reply failed to satisfy the Austrians, and the two moved to a war footing. ]

Its sad that some Big Large displays
of WW1 Soldiers on a Wall in the UK
were Vandalized by young kids
who may think it was the Germans that started WW1
but it was a Bosnian Serb,

The Communists have taken over our schools and history is no longer important. Don't blame the kids. It's not their fault.

I used to go to cenotaph with my dad a lot when I was younger, and have been going again over the past few years. And if I wasn't flued up yesterday, I'd have been there.

Some of the story's from The Great War are so sad yet make you feel so proud.

I was at the cenotaph yesterday, I go every year. I meet up with my late husband's mates from his regiment and we have lunch afterwards. It was particularly poignant yesterday and LOADS of young were there people remembering the fallen from WW1, some of them wearing the medals of their ancestors, acknowledging the fact that it was our freedom that was hard fought for.

Anyhoo…
