UFO Spotted off the South West coast of Ireland

Pilots report UFO sightings off south-west coast of Ireland

A number of Irish pilots have reported seeing an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) off the southwest coast last Friday.

The Irish Aviation Authority have launched an investigation into the appearance of the mysterious object, it has been reported.

The first sighting was recorded by a British Airways pilot flying a Boeing 747 jet from Montreal to Heathrow over Kerry at 6.47am on Friday morning.

She described seeing a UFO coming up along the left-hand side of her aircraft before it "rapidly veered to the north".

The pilot contacted Shannon Air Traffic Control to ask if there were any military exercises taking place nearby.

However, air traffic controllers replied saying: “There is nothing showing on either primary or secondary [radar].”

The bemused pilot replied: “OK. It was moving so fast", before adding that she was "wondering" what it could be.

She added that the UFO had a "bright light" and that it "disappeared at high speed".

After her report, another pilot from Virgin Airlines revealed that they also saw "multiple objects " which were "very bright".

The Virgin Airlines pilot told air traffic controllers that the objects were to their "11 o' clock position" with "two bright lights which seemed to climb away at speed".

He added that the speed of the UFO was "astronomical, like a Mach 2".
An air traffic controller responded saying they would investigate further as other aircrafts had reported similar sightings.

The Irish Aviation Authority told The Irish Examiner: “Following reports from a small number of aircraft on Friday, November 9, of unusual air activity, the IAA has filed a report.

“This report will be investigated under the normal confidential occurrence investigation process.”

I was always taught that you don't take an Irishman's word seriously.

I have no doubt that's true, it was British female pilot reported it though, I have a feeling you don't trust women either though, amirite?
