Giving up the Banquet

When Nick & John had the tug of war over who should miss out on the dinner , Nick should of said to John " Ok let's both stay here and make bean burgers together and let everyone else have their banquet" :joker: .
Wonder what John's reaction would of been then ?

John seems like a pretty straight up and honest guy, I think he would have said there's no point in two people needlessly missing the feast and he would be dead right

Yeah I understand the pointless side of 2 people missing out . Just like I know they wouldn't be allowed to sneak Nick food back much to my disappointment :fist: :joker: .

But just would of been interesting to see what the response would of been, as obviously John was going to "feel responsible" for missing the last star so if he felt so bad maybe he could of stayed behind .

It made me wonder as someone mentioned on DS if it was mandatory that all 10 had to attend the meal ?.

It probably was mandatory but like I said it would have been pretty pointless for two people to miss the food and tbf to Nick it was a valid point that John probably needed the food most (along with Rita and James) because of all the energy they burned actually doing the trial

I think Nick is wonderful, one of my favourites so far. Loving Nick, James, John and Noel.

I note that John missed out his flag by simply being heavier and so the flag was above head height unlike Rita and James so really it was an unfair task

I would have been better if John and Nick came to an agreement such as :

John will feast, whilst Nick eats rice & beans

next time a similar situation arises

Nick will feast, whilst John eats rice & beans

chuff me dizzy 27-11-2018 10:17 AM

IAC reminds me more of BB every year with stuff like this  , we all should of known it seemed too good to be true that they'd gain all 11 flags .

I honestly didn't realise it would be so difficult for John to grab it , but maybe because he was the last 1 on the zip line he either rushed and missed or he just couldn't reach .
