Bring home the lettuce

Smithy 03-12-2018 09:14 PM

I doubt it very much, but I whatever gives people the opportunity to rant about how much people hate vegans I guess

Alf 03-12-2018 09:16 PM

Veganism is for people who are easily brainwashed into guilt.

Oliver_W 03-12-2018 09:33 PM

As much as I think a good BLT would cure people of any veganism nonsense, phrases fall in and out of use all the time, and I doubt it's caused by minor eating habits.

montblanc 03-12-2018 09:35 PM

why do people have such a problem towards veganism :skull:

RileyH 03-12-2018 09:36 PM

How silly

Two words: weak and sentimentality.

Not to mention intolerant and all-imposing.

Marsh. 03-12-2018 10:36 PM

It's already a dated term anyway. Who actually uses it?

Mystic Mock 04-12-2018 01:43 AM

And we all know that bringing home the Sweetcorn would be the better saying.

Crimson Dynamo 04-12-2018 07:18 AM

I was never brainwashed Alf,I have been a veggie since I was 13, I was not coerced by parents ,friends etc,I decided for myself I did not want to eat meat, lots of family and friends eat it's no problem for me.

user104658 04-12-2018 07:38 AM

I don't think I've ever heard anyone use that phrase in real life anyway?

user104658 04-12-2018 07:39 AM

I did hear someone shout "Daddy needs a new pair of shoes!" unironically at a horse race though. That was a good day.

I’ve been vegetarian for nearly 4 years now and it was not influenced by others but rather just something I wanted to do.

I’m never offended by friends eating meat around me.
