What meal do you eat Christmas Eve?

Do you cook or is it a takeaway job?

I usually do a salad with a bit of quiche and pork pie. And then some cheese and biscuits with pickles.

at first we did have a warm Christmas dinner, last couple of years we went for a nice potato salad with all sorts of vegetables (Tomato, Lettuce, Aspergus, pickled onions) and also hard boiled eggs

and homemade chocolate pudding (cocoa powder and milk) with whipped cream on top :hee:

and boxing day (2nd Christmas day) we use gourmet with leftover boiled potatoes and bake them on that on little stove, also some fried eggs, and fruit in can as dessert

Why not salad? It's something light, I don't want to be wasting the rennies, I'll need them for the next day, when I'll feast like Henry VIII
