Our wonderful gardeners.

So, the council gardeners woke me up yesterday morning with the sweet sound of their hedge cutters etc.
Then this morning hubby has nabbed two of them to pop in and shift some furniture about :joker:
Sweet revenge.

I must add, we have known the head gardener since he was in short trousers.
Just shows how friendly we are up north.

I read that as he was wearing short trousers, madness in this weather, he'll catch his death!

:laugh::laugh:
Aye, it is freezing up here this morning.
We lived next door to his family many years ago and remain friends.
Quite a godsend as hubby has done his back in and can’t lift anything too heavy at the minute.

Oh hope he's ok for the holidays Smudgie. Are you doing a bit of redecorating?

Ermmmmmm, where do I start.
We have now moved into the bungalow we bought last December.
Stage 1 is finished. New bathroom, all plastered, coved and painted, new skirting boards, new doors, just the kitchen and dining room waiting for an extension next year, garage getting converted as well, extra bedroom, en-suite and utility.

Our old house is nearly fully decorated, few bits to do then it can go up for sale.
Poor hubby works longer ours now than when he was working.:joker:

Oh stressful enough so I'd say? How are you settling into the new house, is it far from where you were living?

Settling in lovely, all on one level which is making life so much better for me.
Just down the road from our old house.
First move in just over 25 years, quite an adventure.:joker:
