Anticipation to Christmas vs. the actual day
Which is better?

Christmas Day 100%

Build up, always preferred Christmas Eve to the day itself

But I guess when Christmas day arrives then it ends quickly. But there's always the Christmas season :) |
The build-up for kids and young parents is kinda special but you lose that when you get older.
|
Well the build up is many days and there is fun with parties, buying gifts, visiting friends etc
as a kid i loved christmas eve as i was asleep by like 7 on Christmas day as id been up since 4.30 am D: |

We love Christmas.
The build-up is always better than the actual day itself, but Christmas Eve is when it really starts to kick in. We wake up early before 6 and do our shopping for fruit and veg and get any last minute bits and bobs and special treats...and then we pick up the Turkey, come home and sit and relax or put the radio on as I prepare everything in the kitchen. That is the moment when it feels Christmassy for me. The day itself comes and goes in a flash...especially on the morning when people are opening their pressies. Boxing day comes and goes and before we know it the full week has gone and it's time to take the tree down until the following year. |

the day, never really feel christmas-y until the actual day :p
|
I keep forgetting that it’s Christmas time atm :skull:
So hopefully the day! |
Both but can't beat the day
|
Well I keep forgetting it’s Christmas so certainly not the anticipation, my love!
|
The build up for me.
The day itself is often too hectic at times for me apart from Christmas dinner. For me Christmas day starts the Christmas season for the next 12 days, so I find boxing day more relaxing, so enjoying that period between Christmas day and New Years day particularly. |
