Everyone spoke good of this lad
but he had a Moped at 14?
Thats wrong - maybe he was a drug mule?
maybe they thought he was another kid?
This was yesterday 6:30PM

[A 14-year-old boy who was stabbed
to death after a car crashed into his
moped has been named as Jayden Moodie.
The child was killed in Leyton, East London,
on Tuesday night in what police have
described as a targeted attack.]

Exactly what was this 'innocent lad' doing on a moped at 14 years old ? delivering drugs ?

Beso 09-01-2019 06:47 PM

Still no reason for him to have died in this way.

Or just popping to a friends house? Why are people assuming he had anything to do with drugs?

The poor boy, more young people losing their lives in senseless circumstances, it’s appalling, I feel for his family.

Could easily have been stabbed for his moped, or even that jacket he had on.

Hmmmmm, what could possibly be the reason?

Poor kid, at 14 that is no way to go, even if he was ferrying drugs which is by no means confirmed, often vulnerable kids are targetted and don't have a way out of it

Sad thing is, they have such an easy way into it..

I smoke weed so I probably shoulder some blame.

It’s a real head scratcher that one

I wonder what they would all do if the government legalised ALL drugs.

Bet they would still murder each other, they think it’s fun. I say let the animals play. Don’t want my tax spent on these loser scum.

smudgie 10-01-2019 07:33 AM

Poor kid.
My initial thought was had he “borrowed” the moped, and these murderous thugs chased after him.
He was a child, doesn’t matter why he was on the moped, he didn’t deserve to be slaughtered like that.
R.I.P. Jayden.

Because in London
14 year olds on mopeds are great to transport Drugs.

I said could be that ?, (maybe) there are no updates saying it was Drugs
but it makes no sense to drive and hunt him down?

Crimson Dynamo 10-01-2019 08:11 AM

Sounds like a drugs related death to me

happy to be proved wrong...

14 is only a baby, poor kid

At 14, shouldn't his parents have had some idea where he was? They're the first people that failed him.

"Zoe Grant, Jayden's godmother, told Sky News she was "numb" and "shocked".

Jayden was "full of life, fun loving, a ray of sunshine", she said, adding: "There needs to be more police on the streets and more for youngsters to do. The violence is out of hand.""

While I agree that there should be more police on the streets, at 14 his parents should take some responsibility that he was out tearing around on a moped on a school night. And the violence she talks about is mostly black on black violence... but no one wants to be stopped and searched. It's a bloody shambles.

Yes no one has said why
he was going round on his Moped
at the evening in the dark.

Yes he is pictured today with a skull scarf on his face on a moped making a gun sign

To blame the police and "lack of things to do" is frankly ridiculous
