3-year-old boy lost in NC woods tells his family he ‘hung out with a bear for 2 days’

:o Really?

The 3-year-old boy who spent two days lost in the woods of eastern North Carolina tells his family he “hung out with a bear” for companionship while hundreds of people searched frantically in cold and rainy weather to find him.

His aunt, Breanna Hathaway, shared that revelation on Facebook Friday morning, adding that Casey “is healthy, smiling, and talking” after being found late Thursday night. The post has gotten more than 500 comments and 2,100 shares through the day.

“He said he hung out with a bear for two days,” she posted. “God sent him a friend to keep him safe. God is (a) good God. Miracles do happen.”

I don't know Boo Boo

I am quite sure the 3 year old boy recollected that story just as it happened and that he is capable of identifying animals

Also the Good god did spare him but over the 2 days neglected to save the 40,000 other small children who died of preventable disease and preventable hunger in that time

:skull:

I would love to know what actually happened though, it was freezing conditions and he was perfectly fine after 3 days

No idea but it was -6 degrees or something so I'm not sure any clothes would save him from those conditions

Hang LT :

Authorities had said Casey wasn't adequately dressed for the weather, as temperatures hovered around freezing with intermittent rain.

maybe the mum asked the boy if he had been cold and frightened but the boy was playing with his toys and was distrated and replied "bear with me mummy"

Sinister curveball. Could’ve been a dodgy person in a bear mask or bear suit or something.

I find that more likely than an actual bear, but both possible I suppose.

New curveball. He was in he home all along (or a friends home) and now the family got a bit of cash out of their story.

Thats the new most likely.

I won't lie, it's one of the first things I thought too

Its more likely someone took him tbf, he was 'warm' when he was found surely he would have been suffering with hypothermia and dehydration

The family said Friday that a post office box is being set up to handle the sudden outpouring of support for the boy, who spent the day in a hospital bed “eating Cheetos, nuggets, and watching PAW Patrol.”

That's it, make the lying wee ****e obese.

Remember when it was all over the news about the kid who had "gone up in the weather balloon" and there was a huge operation to get the balloon down safely and then they did and... there was no kid inside, and he was in a loft part of the family's garage or something? And the dad pretended that he genuinely thought the kid was in the balloon but I'm sure it all came out eventually that the family knew he was hiding at home and it was all some weird stunt :umm2:.

And of course, there's Shannon Matthews...

A cheeky little black, off-the-shoulder number.

3’s a bit young to be on Grindr

It must be true Tarzan was raised by ape’s.

It’s still more believable than riley’s Alien abduction.
