Gemma Collins has slammed fat-shamers in the wake of her brutal Dancing On Ice fall - but claims she should get special treatment from the judges because of her weight.

The TOWIE diva, who spectacularly tripped during her live skating performance on Sunday night, said people should "cut me a bit of slack" because she's "the biggest girl in the competition".

Gemma, who says she doesn't usually bother weighing herself but has managed to lose two stone since the start of the training, told the Sun: "It's physically more tiring for me than for everyone else, I'm carrying weight that the others haven't got."

But she moaned that it's unfair for the judges - in particular Jason Gardiner - to have a pop at her over her and Matt Evers' inability to add lifts to their routines.

"I do agree with some of the comments [Jason] said — I can't skate as well as the others — but the only reason I didn't like what he said was because he brought up about the lifts and I felt that was regarding my weight," Gemma went on.

"It felt like he was saying no one could lift me. At the end of the day, the show's not called Lifts On Ice, it's called Dancing On Ice. He did want to sue me but I think he's not doing it now, I think he realised he shouldn't have personally gone for me. There's so much more he could have said and he didn't need to bring up about the lift and the weight."

he added: "I do work hard. People just can't believe I'm a big girl and I'm successful."

Gemma has already had to sit out one day of rehearsals this week when she was confined to a wheelchair after her face-plant on the ice.

She was seen being pushed in her chair by boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent, who's been treating her to late-night curries after her performances, and was with her when she went to the Dancing On Ice physio to get her bruised and bloodied knee treated.

Tbf, the amount of people I’ve seen say that Didi was great ‘for her age’ or excuse when she didn’t do so great because she was the oldest, I don’t see why she shouldn’t get the same treatment

the endless comments regarding her weight are awful tbh

This really pisses me off because it seems as though she is using her weight to 'let her off' about why she isn't as good as the others

And she brings it up herself

But gets mad af at Jason Gardiner for doing so???

She confuses fatness with laziness. Lisa Riley was fat but gave her all in Strictly and did very well. Gemma just cant be arsed, as usual. A poor deluded cow.

can't be arsed? is that why she was training the other week which was obvious because last weeks performance proved she was trying and she was training a lot this week despite an injured leg.... she doesn't just sit at home and do nothing, she owns a business, she is doing media work and she's training...far from being lazy

The likes of Lisa Riley and Alison Hammond had a far more extensive training programme for strictly as well as juggling other jobs and still got far with Lisa just missing the final.

You can be fat and still give a good performance but you can't be lazy and give a good performance

She needs towing out to sea sinking, that’s what you do with old wrecks.

GC is one of those people who blames everyone else but herself for a poor performance , she knew before taking on skating on Ice that Matt would not be able to lift her etc and some moves would be impossible for her and him, so maybe fair play to her for trying,but it all seems faux to generate publicity for her.
