BB Poland to have a normal rented house

Big Brother returns to Poland after 11 years since its last series in 2008.
I couldn't be more excited to hear these news at first, but now all I feel is a massive disappointment and ager! :fist:

Apparently Big Brother Poland house isn't going to be as it should be - with camera runs, one-way mirrors and unique themed interiors.

They just rented an ordinary house! It has never happened to any other Big Brother before. What a joke!
I'm shocked Endemol is even letting that happen!

What is more, this is the same house they rented for last year's "Poland's Next Top Model", so we already now how it is going to be like.
I'm afraid interiors won't change at all, doubt the owner of the property will let the production team do that.

So ironic BBUK house is demolished while we need a proper BB house sooo bad here in Poland now!

Take a look at out "Big Brother house" in a video below :

What do you think about that? Am I over-exaggerating? :conf:

EDIT: Could someone change the title of this topic for "BB Poland to have an ordinary rented house", please? :)

I think the fan sites were told this would likely be what happened to BBUK if it was to return as well. They must be trialling their new strategies with this BB Poland one.

andybigbro 02-02-2019 09:22 AM

How does that work? Can’t people just come and go as they please?

Josiah. 02-02-2019 07:55 PM

I mean, Pinoy BB took out all of their camera runs and effectively replaced them with GoPros attached to the ceilings.

Most reality TV shows do this anyway.

Flavour of Love/I Love New York
Charm School
BGC
ANTM

I understand having a nice house can be a plus but it's about the contestants

Oaker 02-02-2019 08:53 PM

Well they don't need camera runs anymore so it makes sense to do this

Greg! 02-02-2019 08:59 PM

Aw one of my fav parts about BB was how the house design/layout changed series to series. But then I guess if BBUK came back they could just rent a different house each year

Tom4784 02-02-2019 09:00 PM

I don't really see the issue tbh.

Imagine being the neighbor

Scoot 03-02-2019 07:43 AM

Surely it makes production a bit difficult? It’s not like they can sneak in and remove a wall/create a new task area/etc. as easily as they would do with a purpose built house.

UserSince2005 03-02-2019 10:58 AM

BBUK was set in a council estate.

MTVN 03-02-2019 11:04 AM

I guess it's a fair bit more cost effective, could actually make it a bit more authentic and less gimmicky being in a proper house

James 03-02-2019 11:40 AM

Does it mean they have camera operators inside the house, visible to the housemates? Because that suggests scripted reality show to me.

Otherwise it is fine.

Josiah. 03-02-2019 12:04 PM

I've got a feeling that they could do the PBB thing of having GoPros attached to the ceilings.

The Promi BB House in Germany don't have camera runs tho

armand.kay 06-02-2019 06:16 AM

here for Big Brother: Estate Trip

Jarrod 06-02-2019 01:38 PM

This is what most Big Brother's are trying to move towards. When we went down to meet with the producers for CBB last year they told us that they were starting to remove the amount of camera runs and have more interior remote cameras instead.

Exactly - it's basically just so it becomes a bit more technology based and is trying to be placed in most series around the world.

What do you guys think? I don't know what to think... I don't feel this is Big Brother anymore in a house like that... :(

Wojtek 16-03-2019 06:22 PM

At first I didn't like the idea of a "real" house, but now I'm not bothered by it anymore  It looks nice and at least the interior is not exactly the same as it was during Top Model

Marsh. 16-03-2019 06:29 PM

The house still looks like a BB house.

If they did it in the UK it'd look like bloody supernanny with webcams filming a few people in a 2 up 2 down in Salford.

I'm quite impressed how good it actually looks. Of course there is no one-way mirrors, camera runs, of course it's an ordinary rented house, but I like it. :hehe:

Greg! 23-03-2019 08:08 PM

I'm shook it actually looks really good
