It might seem an obvious one on such a gay heavy forum but been having this discussion lately.

For or against?

For.

I am against all types of marriage

For(but not forcing it on churches).

I doubt there'll be many against.

Like Monkey said though, I'm not for imposing it on religions.

Obviously for, don't really see why anyone would eb against, but I still do understand what a lot of gay people were on about when they said they did not need marriage as civil partnership is basically the same. But, civil partnership is still an option anyway so theres no reason to not allow marriage if thats what some others want.

I don't understand how anyone can be against it. I mean, heavily religious people I can see being against their specific branch of religion / church offering it but how people can be against gay marriage across the board makes no sense at all to me.

Why should it? They have no responsibility to marry people. And actually, a lot of clergy are happy to bless a gay marriage.

Yeah, sure, why not.

Though it shouldn't be forced on any institutions, it should be their choice.

For ~ as we should all be free to marry whoever we want to.
