Well not all of them were there- Sarah Michelle (Buffy) Gellar, David (Angel) Boreanaz, Seth (Oz) Green, Michelle (Dawn) Trachtenberg and Anthony (Giles) Head weren't in attendance. Although seeing Willow, Spike, Tara and Cordelia :clap1: :flutter:

Jesus, I went with a friend to our local Comic Con because she wanted to meet Nicholas Brendon about 4/5 years ago. He looks about 10/15 years older than he did then, almost didn't recognise him. Wow.

How can you have a Buffy reunion without the best characters? (Buffy / Dawn / Anya obvs)

Dawn was there.

Sarah is filming something I believe and Emma Caulfield hated them all hahah

All I can ever think when I see these things is "Poor Xander" :(. His mental health went downhill when the show ended and it just... shows.

Also I think there was a relatively recent reunion thing (2017 maybe?) that both SMG and David Boreanaz were at. Also Oz, Dawn and Anya were there IIRC. And the LEGEND that is Joyce Summers. But not Poor Xander. Actually it may be the event that he's talking about in that Comic Con video? Where "David didn't want him there" :umm2:.

Also... OK... just putting this out there...

Alexis Denisof (Wesley) is 53. He looks 53.

James Marsters is 56 and, whilst he did age during the show, looks younger than Wes and doesn't look any older than he did when Angel ended 15 years ago?? Spike turned into a real vampire when the show ended? :suspect:

He went and had a photo and interview on his own and then was just photoshopped into the group shot for the EW magazine.

Xander looks like 40 years older :S

I don't recognize anyone except Xander and Spike :laugh:

Spike used to be a snack

He had / I think still has (by the looks of it) pretty serious substance abuse problems and still seems to be very, very bitter about how things went for him post-Buffy so I sort of suspect that him and Boreanaz have maybe had a run-in at a previous Comic Con or similar event - with him potentially being off his face and not even remembering what was said - and now Boreanaz refuses to be around him? I sort of get the impression that a few of the cast are uncomfortable around him but are just less vocal about it :umm2:.

So having just read up... It seems Nicholas Brendon has pretty severe depression, alcoholism and prescription medication addiction and has been arrested several times for smashing up hotel rooms, has been arrested following an incident at a Comic Con, missed another one he was meant to be at because he was arrested for something else, and has also been arrested multiple times for physically assaulting his girlfriend and once for physically assaulting another woman. Not metoo type stuff, just straight-up physical violence like punching / strangling :umm2:.

Honestly it all kind of trashes the memory of the show a bit, which is sad.
